Guys, srsly. Pay attention. 2 days and not a peep out of this board about this. Its embarassing. I'm done accumulating now so thank fuck you've been sleeping on the job.
IntellectEU's Catalyst = Chainlink. just look at the partnerships. SmartContract is in thick with a ton of names surrounding IntellectEU.
>Catalyst is the first integration platform that easily connects traditional infrastructures with any distributed ledger network. It is the first platform to integrate current infrastructures with multiple blockchain networks including networks built with Hyperledger Fabric.
>"The financial services industry is under pressure to innovate faster than ever while continuing to run efficiently and securely, and the benefits of distributed ledger technology have provided the opportunity to re-architect the industry," said Hanna Zubko, CEO of IntellectEU, "At the same time enterprise blockchain projects cannot run independently; they have to become an integral part of the enterprise infrastructure. Catalyst allows financial institutions to integrate their blockchain solution of choice with existing back office systems."
>The PoC was for a car insurance company. The objective was to use Hyperledger Fabric and Catalyst to create a flexible pay per mile insurance product based on the actual car mileage and condition of the vehicle. Catalyst served as the hub for connecting the insurance database, the car dongle (IoT device), end-user mobile application and Hyperledger Fabric itself. "
>The Catalyst platform is designed for the financial services industry It has compliance with ISO 20022 standards. It facilitates interoperability across multiple business units and organizations.

are you people fucking stupid or what. THIS COMPANY IS DOING WHAT CHAINLINK CANNOT. you blind retards see patterns where there aren't any. its sad really.
Benjamin Davis
oh this is a link thread alright. btw I need link papes, post em
quiet down mandeep, just wait. bezos himself will endorse this shit
I think Assblaster said he was from Belgium.. could he work here or know someone here?
Nathan Bell
Wrong. This is how Chainlink works. They provide the network and spec, acting as a protocol, and let their clients create their own frameworks on top of their network. Microsoft Cryptlets = SDKs built on top of Chainlink's network. IntellectEU Catalyst = Intellect's IDS system being integrated with Chainlink's network. even their kernel level integration with zeppelin_os will include zeppelin created SDKs for interacting with their network.
Mason Green
Swift is headquartered in Belgium .
Jeremiah Perry
You guys know they were both at sibos too.
Samuel Lewis
Integration of financial messaging system Integration of Blockchain use cases Making new FinTech applications work with legacy applications through API framework
Your right OP. I wonder what will use the Link token though.
Jace Adams
I remember this particular thread a while back about a car insurance company thats been purported to be using smart contracts and apparently follows smartcontract's twitter profile.
Aaron Bailey
earthquake insurance* it's called jumpstart recovery
Jose Walker
keep those digits coming
Nathan Harris
Isn’t the LINK token just to incentivize node holders to provide accurate data? Or am I mistaken. I don’t hold LINK and don’t know much about it
Ayden Taylor
collateral for data nodes, same as the whole Chainlink network. any clients of Intellect's will have to acquire LINK from SmartContract and/or purchase LINK OTC as part of Catalyst.
Christopher Reed
I’m just doubting that 100% of the oracles will be through Chainlink
Thomas Garcia
Intellect's IDS already handles interoperability between various payment formats, so you're correct. some off-chain -> off-chain processes won't need Chainlink. Chainlink will come into play anytime there's off-chain -> on-chain or on-chain -> off-chain transactions to be processed. each transaction in the real world is complex and made up of smaller transactions which is why SmartContract has left integrations open the way they have. there's too many use cases for the team to try to micromanage partnership integrations. so instead they micro key partners who create their own SDKs/frameworks on top of Chainlink's network and it allows it to reach a far more broad audience.
Nathaniel Price
Doesn't this seem more like a competitor?
Jose Lopez
Not when taken with the partners and the fact that Intellect is still relatively new to blockchain so it seems doubtful they'd devise and implement their own oracle network that fast.
>Being dedicated to financial services marketplace, IntellectEU is about to start its way in Blockchain direction. We are looking for a truly passionate and interested in Blockchain expert eager to take on fresh challenges. The role combines strong business and technical vision, customer communications skills and commitment to service excellence. Be the first to work with innovative solutions for the broader market and drive Blockchain projects to the initial project delivery.
>IntellectEU is about to start its way in Blockchain direction
>about to start
mind you this is an old vacancy, but their partners are too high caliber for them to just slap something together. they're for sure leaning on Chainlink for all the heavy lifting. hacking together an SDK for Chainlink would be easy. hacking together Chainlink is definitely not.
Gavin Morgan
I have dug through multiple employees twitter accounts and linkedin accounts.
I can't see one of them following or being followed by smartcontract, sergey or rory.
They look to be very interested in Ripple, Hyperledger and Ethereum. Don't forget Ripple are all about ISO 20022 standards and messaging.
and here we go can't expect much of the autism here, but if you must message please for the love of God be civil
Gabriel Parker
dont worry im not a sperg. just a thought.
Caleb Lopez
that's cute. this company is in a completely different league than the teams who use slack.
no need to harass them, you'll find out more next week user ;). i'm off to bed so you'll have to track down any other clues you can find without me or wait for next week
Christopher Stewart
Any way to invest in IntellectEU?
Andrew Gomez
>you'll find out more next week do you have confirmation that these guys are involved with link? trust me, I want this to be true more than anyone, but I try to avoid getting hyped in error
IntellectEU Catalyst is the very first demo in the Hyperledger booth next week for a reason. Breadcrumbs have dropped over the years, but with mainnet approaching and testnet able to run node instances now, this Consensus will be when Hyperledger and their partners start leaning in hard on smart contracts.
>Hyperledger Booth >Come visit us in the Hyperledger booth (#315), snag a copy of the new Smart Contracts whitepaper, and grab some Hyperledger swag!
>10:20 AM: IntellectEU – Enterprise Blockchain Integration with IoT devices and back office systems by Hanna Zubko, CEO and Paulo Rodrigues, Global Business Developer Manager, CEO Portuguese Offices
>This presentation covers a real customer case leveraging Blockchain technology to offer a new insurance product: a flexible pay per mile insurance based on the real car mileage and condition, calculating the insurance premium rate and quoting the offer based on the accumulated data received from the IoT device installed in the car. This Pilot project is based on Hyperledger Fabric 1.0 and IntellectEU’s Catalyst integration solution. Catalyst serves as a hub for connecting the insurance DB, emulated IoT device, end user application and the ledger itself. Catalyst listens to the changes on all data sources and based on the business rules applies the corresponding logic.
