I wanted to enter a military academy but was not fit enough to pass the physical evaluation. So I decided to go to uni for a year and spend this time training in order to try and enroll next year.

the workload especially in the first year is overestimated, the atmosphere at unis is casual and no one really gives a hoot what you do
profs are usually nice and will give you an extra chance if you're the type of student to show up to class
