I came here in November with 0.03 BTC, made a few hundred, thought I was hot shit and diversified into alts. made like $2000 since then but everything's going sideways and i'm not really recovering from the Jan crash.
here's my shit, poorfag porfolio:
3000 LINK 150,000 HOLO 32,000 UUU 75 XRP (leftover from a while back, just sitting on binance) 110,000 APOLLO
Total portfolio value $1,812.49
I keep coming here every hour of every day, trying to learn something to make it, but I'm fucking exhausted from it. I give up. I'm just going to long-hodl and come back next year, see if it's gone up a grand or two.
>I keep coming here every hour of every day, trying to learn something to make it, but I'm fucking exhausted from it. I give up.
user, there is no help for you here. Crypto is all stacked against us as hodling/hoping is the only strategy for most of us. Pick your coins and pray, go and live your life. I wish I could say I was taking my own advice.
Nicholas Roberts
3 million in linkies eoy
Joseph Gonzalez
>Pick your coins and pray, go and live your life. I wish I could say I was taking my own advice. What's stopping you from leaving? for me it's the anticipation that the next x1000 is being shilled here somewhere among the shitposts
that would be mad, Link is the first coin I believed in. But I don't see it happening. I hope i'm completely wrong.
jesus christ do you live in brazil or some shit you can earn 2 grand in a week go get a job
Bentley Foster
worse, south wales. no jobs, no nothing. I started a business this year, so i've had to put a lot into that. I calculate that I'll have to put most of my income back into the business for the next 6 months, so putting more money in is not really an option. only hodl, or flip what shit I have now.
Austin Gray
sell everything and the kys
holy shit what a dumpster fire
literally every single coin you have is complete and utter garbage
how do you even dress yourself in the morning?
Parker Hill
im uneducated 30yr old loser. put a total of $1500 back in April when it dropped down to $6500/btc. sold for $300 profit. then i quickly realized the Pump And Dump that was happening last week. decided to stay out of it. then noticed the Dump part and me being an idiot just decided to buy (at the very beginning of the Dump part) so now i just holding.
so -1500 to +1750 to $1750 worth of litecoin valued at $170.5 my litecoin currently valued at: $1,445.47
this just means that i have to buy more litecoin to lower my average value or just hold and pray. well this just means that if i leave now i basically broke even. 1500 minus $70 i donated to a website.
Charles Barnes
I relate to you, user, and I'm I'm the exact situation. 1 out for every 20 posts work, it's such a gamble, and it's not worth it... Go here for inspiration or to gamble, but don't take the advice until you research it. IDEX is a fucking mess 90% of the time, avoid it. You need to find another TRON in it's prime, or go to a crackhiuse exchange that's not shilled here and learn it.
Xavier Robinson
Your folio looks like , all you do is browse bid and buy shit coins shilled here. KYS
Kevin Barnes
Bid = Biz
Easton Green
>literally every single coin you have is complete and utter garbage
alright, so post your portfolio so I can learn from it.
Sounds like we're in the same boat. maybe someone here can give us advice besides KYS
>You need to find another TRON in it's prime I suppose what I'm looking for, and I assume 90% of BIZ, is the next ETH/NEO. Some think it's Chainlin, some think it's EOS or REQ. I suppose the ideal plan would be to grab an equal amount of all x1000 candidates and hodl for 2-3 years min.
I think most people here are NEETs and have the freetime to day-trade with their social benefit paychecks.
Yeah you nailed it in one. That's exactly what I've been doing. Post your portfolio, I'm curious to see what coins you hold that are well-performing and aren't shilled here.
>for me it's the anticipation that the next x1000 is being shilled here somewhere among the shitposts
Protip: it already happened. It's called Holochain. Your 150k is peanuts. Get at least 1 million.
Tyler Hernandez
check out pcbbot discord. great tips
Andrew Russell
>Get at least 1 million. you sound pretty bullish on holo, where do you think the price will land 2020 EOY?
Chase Nelson
yeah I'd love to check it out, got an invite you can send?
Cooper Cooper
I'm bullish because I'm an ICO buyer and spent days researching this before buying. I even bought more today at 8x ICO price. I don't like to speculate on price, but I'm pretty sure we will see between 1-10 cents by the end of this year. By 2020 many things could happen, but if the tech is as good as everyone think it is and it actually scales to compete with AWS, we can reach 1$ guaranteed. I know it's more than BTC's marketcap, but by 2020 I think the entire crypto market will be between 1-5 trillion dollars.
Noah Ortiz
> he unironically bought HOLO > pic related is their hard-working team
Congrats on getting in on ICO. I'm somewhat bullish on holo, but I'm too much of a brainlet to understand it inside and out. I just know that a lot of people here are heavy into it and I'm going with the Wisdom of the Crowd. So you think 1mil Holo is enough to 'make it'? I only need about $400,000 to make it where I live.
To be totally honest with you, I don't really give a shit about how the team looks, I just care about mass adoption. We're at a point where we have thousands of shitcoins and only 3-5 of them are going to still be here in 2020. The scaling of the tech in their respective developments will make the other's obsolete, and whichever one is adopted and forced down the neck of normies will be the ones to explode in value. We're all here, digging around in the dirt together.
Luis Price
I recommended 1 million mostly because 1$ per holofuel is at the meme stage now. It can reach that, but it depends on many external factors. 10 cents is very very doable. If you have 1 million, worst case scenario you leave with 100k.
Daniel Sanchez
>worst case scenario 100k topfuckingkek how about you stop lying to him and yourself and buy LINK instead?
Ryder Martinez
Reality check: holo is not going to see mass adoption. You're supposed to sell before the hype fades anons.
Jackson Barnes
sell all your meme coins and buy real projects ETH - 50% MKR - 20% ZRX - 20% LOOM - 10% with that you can delete blockfolio and leave Jow Forums you will come back in 2019 with a profit it won't be 1000x, it won't be even 10x, but it will be profit
Dominic White
I ain't selling my precious linkies or my holo suicide insurance, but I'll definitely look to sell UUU , XRP and Apollo (when it hits exchanges in a few weeks) for ZRX & ETH.
wall street and big institutional money is just waiting to flood this market with money. the next bull run is going to be bigger than the last.
Brandon Bailey
also, post your portfolio. I want to see what a non-pajeet one looks like.
A lot of anons are talking shit about my choices without revealing their own. If your portfolios are so good then post them so I can learn.
>bitchute.com/video/a1ohynVjxxH3/ I believe you are right but I am still pretty deflated about my portfolio choices and how badly they perform. Do I should pull out of alts and just go 50/50 into btc/eth for a year? As you can see I have limited funds. I just need them to x4-5 and I would be happy with that for a 2019 alts fund.
i think it'd be good to keep link, im biased and personally hold some. don't think it'll go nuclear yet but as the world starts using smart contracts more, it's considered a market leader in the space.
the other ones im not so sure about, dont know much about apollo or holo so i can't give much of an opinion. ive read a bit about uuu and do feel that its a better way to do social network content and dont think thats a terrible choice.
BTC or ETH are definitely safe/stable picks, i think we can look back in a couple of years and we'd see these levels as pretty "cheap" for them but we won't see exponential growth from them. my profile isn't massive either, but i hold about 10-15% of it in BTC and buy a little bitcoin every couple of weeks for a couple of reasons. 1) big players are looking to hold at least some bitcoin, even people that don't traditionally invest in crypto are looking at it as a way to reduce their profile volatility over the years. which sounds counter intuitive but its true. wallstreet boys are looking to hold at least about 2% of their profiles in bitcoin for that reason. 2) and i hold some bitcoin because on the next bull run if any alts that i like get super cheap i can go in and pick some up at a crazy good price. if bitcoin goes on an insane pump alts will bleed out big time.
don't fall for any Jow Forums hype and try to filter out the noise and look for real nuggets. hype will get you pump and dump moon missions which is kind of good if youre good at timing things an dshit but if you're looking to long term hold things and not just chase random moon mission x and moon mission y pick things that have an interesting usecase.
my brothers afraid to invest in crypto right now but if i could get him to invest in one thing that wasn't link fore exponential growth it'd be AION, look into it.
also check out this discord its unironically a good data aggregator. no pajeets, very Jow Forums-kore personalities, and some good leaks

>We're at a point where we have thousands of shitcoins and only 3-5 of them are going to still be here in 2020 Looking at the members of that team - they're 100% NOT going to make it
Justin Gray
Thanks for the serious advice user. I appreciate that. So you when you buy btc every couple of weeks, is that irrelevant of the price in that moment or do you wait for dips?
I think you're right about grabbing a 10-15% in btc. But are you worried that ETH might overtake BTC due to the tech?
Thanks for the discord my man. I really appreciate the help.
definitely could be right. I don't know. I bought it from the intense shilling, and the thought of it sky rocketing the moment I sell is keeping me from doing it. tell you what, If it makes me a x4 then i'll definitely consider selling and grabbing some profit. currently sitting at a x1.7
Eli Thomas
Take a look at the people in tech who "made it". Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Notch, Zuckerberg, Bezos etc.. They're all low-T liberal cucks.
Lucas Rogers
makes sense. plus most normies are liberal-leaning, they see a group of nerds like holo dev team and it might give them a 'next apple/facebook' feel. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Dylan Wood
To many women.

yeah lately ive been buying bitcoin at anything under basically under ~10K. dont care if i buy in at 6.5k or 9.5k, i just buy some every once in awhile when i have extra money and hold it and think its worth having at least some btc.
i do get greedier on dips of course but whenever the market tanks big time and there are alts that have been bleeding out for a long time, like it did last time it was around 6.5k, i get alts instead of bitcoin
Isaac Peterson
I think that's smart, and I'm going to be doing the same from now on. It worked for me the first time, I don't know why I ever stopped. thanks user.
Jeremiah White
Listen here kid, instead of buying whatever shitcoin is posted on here use fundemental analysis to look into coins which will show growth in a few weeks time. One example would be to buy VEN before mainnet launch in June and sell the news or if an airdrop is announced people will fomo into buying to get free tokens.
zuckerberg seemed to want out though he’s a bit darker compared to the rest
Benjamin Clark
@tictocgroup same as pbcbots but much cheaper apparently ;)
Colton Phillips
Ok I'm gonna try to help 'cause Ryan Gosling is a qt.
I've so far turned $250 bought at ATH (so .2ETH) into 3k (4.4 ETH) over the past 4 months. This shit is not hard. Find shit that looks good and is undervalued and sell when it bounces back up.
If you DO want to walk away for a while, keep UUU just in case it does take off, gtfo of everything else. Don't be a walking meme.
First, go into ETH. Probably gonna be 1-2k EOY. In any case. it's more stable than anything else. Your goal if you do want to invest is to maximise how much ETH you have
Ok, from there, buy into RLX. This is my only shill tip, take it or leave it. It's undervalued 'cause the devs dumped some of their stack to pay for their hitBTC listing. You're only gonna hold this for a bit. I only say asap 'cause it's hit bottom literally last night. Before you call me a bagholder, I'm still 20% up on it even with the dip.
Then, set a buy order for XRP for ~6.5k sats. Probably closer to 7k. Biz says XRP is bad. Biz is dumb. Don't listen to biz.
I'd love to say keep your holo, but it's more likely that it drops before it gets better, and that's if it does at all. I say sell it and check back weekly for dips? IDK, I've stayed the hell away from it.
NANO just dropped 10% in sats on top of the dip. It's hitting all time lows. Probably gonna drop a little more but it's definitely the time to buy. It's undeniable that it's going to rise like 10 ranks on CMC this year. I don't hold nano yet, still waiting a little to see if it drops a few % points more.
In general, biz is great for gems. But you gotta research, learn to wade through the endless stream of diarhea, and cut your losses when you fucked up. I believed in EQC like craazy after someone posted it here. I got a sick 2x after a silly pump, but the project has now pretty much stagnated, so I didn't buy back in. Duh.
Holy shit that's a long post. I just hope at least one person reads the whole thing.
Much love, and I hope I helped in any way.
Carter Torres
I don't know how you guys trade this shit. You have no idea where the bottom is, no real data or earnings reports to see how the coin is doing. You're literally just guessing. No wonder everyone on here goes broke.
Hudson Gonzalez
>under 20k portfolio >diversified into 5 meme coins wtf?
I don't know man, I just wish you trusted yourself enough to find something worth beliving in, the wisdom from the crowd thing has me worried. I don't know, good luck.
Michael King
you realize the oldfags who made it after first buying in 2013 didn't give up in the bear market years of 2014-2016, they traded and accumulated more
Jaxson Fisher
only made 2000 out of 0.03 BTC in November?
how low IQ are you? should have easily been 5 digits
Daniel Ortiz
OP here posting from gf's
Thank you for taking the time to give me solid advice.
as for holo, i'm gonna see if it can make my original buy-in a x2, then put it into a pump. A lot of people in this thread have given me some suggestions so I guess i'll have to keep note of them and see how it happens on the day. Would love to turn my shitty £170 of holo into £300-400. Or even enough to buy 1 ETH.
as for cripple, what about that insane supply? doesn't that pretty much mean that we're only going to see minimal long-term gains?
Thank you fren
I went all-in on Chainlink through dec-feb, thinking that would help. But as Link's price kept going up I needed to chase pumps to up my all-in stack. So I set aside about £300 for three moon missions that never came. Now i'm stuck in the launch pad limbo, waiting for me to fomo at a loss on x2 or for my assets to increase.
Haven't looked into NAS, cheers for the tip!
Heard a lot about OxBitcoin here but most of it seemed like deranged shilling. why are you so bullish user? is mining an option for me? I've got a pretty high-end gaming PC that might be able to grab a viable yield.
Perhaps. Perhaps hodling isn't a meme. I'm torn.
Were there alts back then? Or did they just accumulate btc through the bears?
Yeah I was even more naive back then, chased every shilled moon mission and lost every single time.
I just want £400k to buy a house, that's it. I dont want lambos or watches etc, I just want a decent roof over my head so I can start a family. And though I have lost money overall, I still believe it can be done through crypto. I'm just trying to figure out the best strategy, hence all the advice and spoonfeeding in this thread.
John Myers
Some rules you need to know. >don't chase pump shills Skim through blockfolio of a bunch of popular coins and see if you see several days of overwhelming green candles up. That's when you buy, not when it's all over biz front page. >no matter how promising it sounds it's only half as special as you think it is. No coin will be going from a few cents to 1k eoy. No matter how exciting it sounds no coin goes straight up like that. Take profit and sell and move on. Don't become a true believer waiting for golden bull. > don't hold coins for too long on low volume exchanges. That means idex shitcoins. Sell and move on. >supply of coins don't matter. % gain is independent of supply. .005 moving to .01 will give you more gains than btc from 10k to 16k. Keep that in mind. >nothing will overtake btc. No matter what sweet little lies they tell you. No matter what the tech is btc will always be nunber 1. Bcash isn t btc. Doesn't mean don't buy alts but be wary of idiots talking about muh flippening.
Hunter Stewart
thank you friend. screenshotting for future reference. I really appreciate the help.

I'm also in UK. You need to relax and don't chase FOMO. Not everything is a scam but must shill coins are. DYOR
