>Germany 1.All fortifications from Dunkirk to Boulogne will be destroyed. 2.The ore rich area of Briey will be annexed outright. Coastal strips in the North would also fall under German control. 3.War debts shall be imposed on France so large that she is incapable of rearming herself for 15-20 years 4.The French will cease all trade with Great Britain and will be reliant on the Germans economically. 5.Either the outright annexation of Belgium or the seizure of lands up to Antwerp and making the rest a "vassal state" 6.Luxemburg integrated into the empire as a "Germanic State" 7.The creation of a Central European economic sphere (think EU almost) of the German client states in the West and the newly formed states created in the East from a supposed Russian defeat as well. All client/buffer states of Germany, of course. Translated it states " including France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Austria-Hungary, Poland and tolls. Italy, Sweden and Norway. This association will not have no common constitutional supreme superficial equality of its members, but actually under German leadership, must the economic dominance over Central Europe stabilize. " 8.The annexation of all African colonies controlled by Belgium and France(and later Britain and Portugal) - basically creating a giant continuous state across the continent.
This is, in essence, calling for a European empire with Germany at the head and a seizure of large swathes of Africa (Germany's "place in the sun").
>Ottomans The Ottomans were crumbling from the inside out and the war was a way to regain some land lost to the Russians in previous wars i.e The Caucasus (Armenia,Azerbaijan and Georgia) and also fight their way back to relevancy. The Ottomans also had plans with Germany to create a Berlin to Baghdad continuous railroad to link Europe and the Arabian peninsula .This would link the Ottomans to the industrialized Central Europe and link Germany to its African colonies by land thus negating the need for a strong navy partially. they had plans in the long term of when the war was to be over and they had got some reestablished some order back they would take the the Arabian peninsula in a couple years
>The Austro-Hungarians they were in similar in the boat as the Ottomans in that they were fighting for survival. The Croats, Bosnians, and Slovenes all wanted more autonomy and independent will in the Empire and right out of Hungary would come suppression and oppression to keep them down. This would escalate until a movement would begin (with the support of Serbia to some extent) for a pan-Slavic Union of the Bosnians, Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes under "Greater Serbia" -- which obviously carve the Austro-Hungarians apart and deprive them of all their coastal land. With Russia seeing itself as protector of the Slavic people this kind of endeavor would have inevitably called Russia into war in support and thus Austria-Hungary's very existence was threatened by an independence movement that covered about half of its territory. This would, by the way, be precisely what happened after the wars end; Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, and Montenegro would unify into a greater Slavic state -- Yugoslavia. Ironically enough Franz Ferdinand, before his assassination, was actually trying to fight for more independence/autonomy for the Slavic states to peacefully quash future rebellion but alas that was cut short and thus war became the solution. Crushing Serbia crushed the hope for 'Greater Serbia'. Crushing Russia crushed the hope of the 'Protector of the Slavs' coming to the Croats, Slovenes, and Bosnian's aid. It would have solidified Austria-Hungary's place as the Balkan's power.
you can read more information form a book titled "Griff nach der Weltmacht: Die Kriegzielpolitik des kaiserlichen Deutschland 1914–1918" which was published in English as ""Germany's Aims in the First World War." by German historian Fritz Fischer this book was some what controversial im Germany now these were the official goals of each empire but what would have happened next in this world thats really not something we can predict also there were plans to give British and french colonies (South,Africa,Indochina,Canada,Australia and the British Raj) their Independence
Austin Scott
oh yeah forgot Libya(which you won from the Ottomans) would be given back to the ottomans
Owen Perry
And Bulgaria?
Mason Moore

>During the negotiations for the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, Paul von Hindenberg spent much of the proceedings napping. When someone poked him and asked why he wanted to annex the Baltic states into Germany, he said "To safeguard my flank for the next war." and proceeded to nod off back to sleep.
James Diaz
The Entente had similar plans for clay theft that Woodrow Wilson cut short. He told them stealing clay wasn't nice and we needed to accept national self-determination.
Hindenberg also wanted to outlaw birth control products in Germany so they would have enough soldiers for the next time a war happened.
Noah Martinez
Dodged a bullet there.
Mason Hughes
and he made Hitler chancellor...
Jayden Martinez
Really wouldn't you want to live this world
Logan Lopez
He pretty much couldn't stand Hitler anyway, but he was in his 80s and didn't really have the energy anymore to try and stop him.
Kevin Morales
Reminder that if Germany was dismantled then we could have avoided WW2 altogether.. In short, fuck Wilson, that fucking libcuck
Joshua Moore
I want to live in the world where the faggot americans didnt cuck the Versailles treaty and cockblocked us from undoing Bismarck's retarded offspring and do the world a favor by preventing WWII.
Ethan White
In short, he allowed WWII to happen.
Matthew Turner
The "Versailles directly lead to WW2" meme is too played out, the debt of reperations was great, but could have been paid or renegotiated further down the line. Ebert is the one who caused WW2, he called for strikes in the Rhur to contest the control we had over it after the peace deals, but only managed to destroy their own economy with this course of action. Which lead to the fate that Weimar had and the rise of extremism.
this also all the French/Brits would've had to do to prevent WW2 was actually enforce the ToV Simply would've had to intervene once Germany infringed on the terms, it's not like Germany got a huge army out of a sudden...
Justin Campbell
> the debt of reperations was great, but could have been paid or renegotiated further down the line Truth be told, it was less significant that what they extorted from us in one go in 1871.
They literally emptied all the gold reserves at once, so much that it caused the value of gold to crash in Germany because there was so much.
Luis Sanchez
>/his/ ? in all serioussness tho the wrong side won ww1 >mfw no Ottoman empire controling the middle east >mfw no independent Hindustan superstate >mfw the eternal Ang* is made to pay for its crimes >mfw empires still exist >mfw liberalism and all its conseqential degeneracy never comes about to rot society from the inside out
Thomas Cook
The UK was the colder feet one (although we werent great either), France was always more favorable to an intervention while the UK wasnt, and so we followed their lead to not break the alliance.
Owen Martinez
the harsh treaty of 1871 was revenge for the Treaty of Tilsit of 1806, which brought Prussia to the brink of collapse
It really is a back and forth of generations. Well that wqs pay back for how you turned on us in the 7 years war while we supported you heavily in the Austrian Succession War, the one that made you a rising power.
Lucas Sullivan
After the Munich accords, while Chamberlain famously crowed, Daladier, when he came back to France and saw the crowd cheering, declared "Dumbasses! If only they knew..." (Ah les cons! S'ils savaient...) He expected to be booed by the crowd for having abandoned the Sudetenland and Czechoslovakia, and instead he was horrified at being welcomed a hero for following the Bongs.
Eli Watson
Wilson was also mostly responsible for Albania maintaining her fragile independence after the war when all of her neighbors wanted to carve her up.
Tyler Rogers
>It really is a back and forth of generations. not really France was never at the mercy of Germany (or Prussia) before 1871, neither was a German country at the mercy of France before 1806 This Treaty of Tilsit really set the precedent for the Franco-German enmity which would last until the total German defeat of 1945
John Martinez
>implying we don't secretly still hate each other's guts
Jayden Cooper
Nonetheless, France had been an enemy of the Habsburgs for centuries earlier and Louis XIV had stolen Alsace-Lorraine from the HRE.
Aaron Collins
Moreso Iéna and Auerstaedt, kind of ironic that we had the same reaction with Sedan for the Franco Prussian war.
Jaxon Martinez
>In short, fuck Wilson, that fucking libcuck
"Some say I'm an idealist. Well, that's how I know I'm American. America is the only idealistic country in the world."

>hated the Habsburgs Actually one of the reasons they shouldnt hate us >took Alsace Lorraine Once again, its something way more related to Austria than Prussia
Jose Gray
Denmark also got back some free clay after the war for doing absolutely nothing.
Jeremiah Kelly
shut the fuck up you stupid fucking frog we saved your asses twice and you still post dumb shit like this fuck you
>twice Don't pat yourself on the back too much. You may have sped things up in 1918 but you were hardly decisive.
Levi Price
Come on, we cant even have doubts that this is a bait, other American posters are way better at riling up a thread.
Ethan Lee

Georges Clemenceau was obsessed with avenging 1870, which he remembered as a young man and he wanted Germany to bleed, which included French annexation of the left bank of the Rhine.
Cameron Mitchell
>MUH VERSAILLES WAS THE REASON GERMANS GOT ANGRY-revisionism
Shut the fuck up, you basically allowed WWII to happen by being meddly goody-two-shoes assholes.
Elijah Anderson
>>MUH VERSAILLES WAS THE REASON GERMANS GOT ANGRY-revisionism obviously it was.
In a way it was. By being defeated without even suffering occupation besides the Ruhr allowed you mongs to perpetuate the myth that you had been backstabbed.
Versailles should have been the final nail in the coffin of germanic aggression, and instead it got cucked halfway.
Jacob Taylor
Well technically, you are right, but they were blaming a lot on the wrong targets.
You should have been taken apart by continental Europe, whilst being left 1/4 of your land
Eli Kelly
>germanic aggression lmfao talking about revisionism France was the most aggressive nation in Europe until 1871
Chase Russell
Meh, we actually did good diplomatically and bidded our time to never become the agressor in WW1.
Asher Parker
Britain and France also opposed German reunification in 1990 while the US was in favor of it.
Lincoln Reed
>you started it August,3rd, 1914: German declaration of war on France, starting with an invasion of Belgium.
And this despite Bismarck's every effort to isolate us diplomatically, and they still managed to piss off everyone in WWI.
Jaxon Brown
In 1899 the American ambassador to the Ottoman Empire, Oscar Straus approached Sultan Abdul Hamid II to request for the Sultan to write a letter to the Moro Sulu Muslims of the Sulu Sultanate in the Philippines telling them to submit to American suzerainty and American military rule, the Sultan obliged them and wrote the letter, which was sent to Sulu via Mecca; two Sulu chiefs delivered it to Sulu and it was successful since the "Sulu Mohammedans... refused to join the insurrectionists and had placed themselves under the control of our army, thereby recognizing American sovereignty."The Ottoman Sultan used his position as caliph to order the Sulu Sultan not to resist and not fight the Americans when they were invaded by Americans. the pacification of the Sulu Moros in his address to the first and Despite the sultans "pan-Islamic" ideology, he readily acceded to Straus's request to avoid hostilities between the West and Muslims.
this was the power of having the Ottoman on your side if you had Muslim subjects in oversees colonies just ask the Ottoman caliph to tell them its un-Islamic to rebel European leaders knew and thats one of the big reasons why they supported the ottomans though our the years
