I drive Uber sometimes I and got some Chicanos as passengers once, they spoke in a weird mix of English with bits of Spanish and Mexican/Chicano slang thrown in that was absolutely disgusting. They also were rude as shit and spoke behind my back in English thinking I wouldn't understand. (they said something like "A Ford Focus? That's nice, I thought these little Chileans [Chilenitos] still rode in ox wagons").

Why are you making stuff up? Do you really expect us to believe you're swarming with Chicano tourists or something?

I said "once". Most of the tourist I've taken are Brazilians or Argentinians.

Do Brazilians speak to you in Spanish or English?

I can’t imagine Brazilians being in the rest of Latin America due to the language barrier

If we speak slowly it's mostly intelligible for simple stuff, to actually have a conversion I've done it in English.

>If we speak slowly it's mostly intelligible for simple stuff, to actually have a conversion I've done it in English.
I've heard a Czech girl describe speaking to Poles in a similar manner.

>Peru
>not northern
lol who did this shit map
anyways it's really hurting when someone massacrates our native language but i don't think it's bad enough to shoot them or something

>massacrates

Im pretty sure Chicanos don’t butcher spanish as badly as you butchered that word

I'll butcher your mom's ass lmao

now you know how we feel then

Actually mexican spanish in some parts is closer to actual spanish than south american spanish. Go to places like Monterrey or Guadalajara and you will hear correct spanish.

Argies have the nastiest spanish accent, especially when “ll” becomes a “zh” sound

Chicano english is awful what makes you think their spanish is any better.

Because their native language is Spanish?

>in some parts
the upper class parts
it's the same for all of the Americas: criminals and hoodlums have slangs that barely sound spanish anymore but some pidgin form

“zh"? i always thought it was "sh" sound

Either way it shouldn’t sound anything like an “h”

Like shit
> correct spanish
There's no such thing

chicanos get taught spanish from parents who are dirt poor with no education, hence why they're in america to begin with.

They sound Mexican

well if we are to believe they have italian roots, everything that should sound like Y (because of yeismo) sounds like G when they pronounce it: "giuliana", "giuvia", "gio"

>There's no such thing
the RAE would digress... but doesn't anymore. fuck this new generation

I think my Spanish is good
Although I really notice how Chicano I am when I speak with someone from LatAm

they sound like mexicans, hence, shit.

Like the lowest version of mexican spanish, gang-like, cringy peasants.

Like a mexican colombian retard

>actual Spanish
Not how linguistics works

Like shit
> correct spanish

But that doesn’t mean the average Chicano doesn’t think and live their life in Spanish only

Isn’t Mexican spanish relatively neutral in terms of accents?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
no user, it isn't

That is who y’all send over
We rarely get the white ones

I’m from Michoacán (one of the nicer areas of Mexico) and everyone always compliments my accent

i'm from michoacan
hello

What city? I was born in Zamora

nuevo leon sounds the best by far

and Sonora is the worst in my opinion
