better than paying waiters a decent wage (communism)
Yeah true, taxation is theft (unless it's for the military industrial complex - God bless our troops)
Why are Americans so allergic to taxes? Do they expect roads and schools to appear out of thin air, or are they only willing to pay for the roads and schools they personally use?
>tip
>get shot
Kek this
what happens when you tip $0.1?
Each American has an image of himself as the solitary hero who transcends the communal bonds that sustain lesser men and can achieve greatness totally on his own without help. You see this in their movies a lot. Boomer Americans especially will talk about how they were able to "pay for" university solely with their earnings from waitressing part time (ignoring the massive subsidies for university education that were the norm at this time). Also their government is extremely incompetent and corrupt, but they can't see that other types of government are possible.
Tl; dr Americans are narrow minded
Probably because they don't feel kinship with other Americans and only care about their own family or just themselves
That guy is a bro, though. Why are you posting that image as if it's a bad thing?
We have tipping culture too
It's just bizarre, cringy, autistic, a combination of the peculiar American love of tips, hatred of the very notion of taxes, needless politicisation of daily life, making everything in a photo op for Reddit or Instagram etc pp.
>order a $100 meal
>that'll be $15 tip, sir
>guy across me ordered a $10 meal and received the exact same service
>that'll be $1.50 tip, sir
go outside
get laid
This is actually pretty based. Would prefer it to a tip
It's retarded and wait staff in America only claim tips up to minimum wage anyway so it's also pointless and is just an attempt by a dumbass to espouse his childish politics.
i tip waiters and people that deliver food for me either 1 or 2 euros depending on my mood and the current weather
I live on a border town. There is a restaurant on the U.S. side and each table has a little sign thst says something like:
>"To our valued Canadian customers, please be aware that in the United States it is customary to tip your server 15%-20% of the total cost of your meal. Thank you for your consideration and patronage."
>tipping only 15%
Enjoy getting shot
Why? We tip the same in leafland
This would get you shot in America
Where are you? It's rare to tip anyone in NB except waitstaff or delivery staff and it's usually just some change, a loonie or toonie, certainly not 15%-20% of the cost of a meal. Our wait staff make an actual wage in Canada
