are any of you thirdies on Jow Forums actually poor?
I know most latin americans here are rich and live in gated communities, but surely there must be some poor thirdies here as well?

i am poor. ask me anything.
>I know most latin americans here are rich and live in gated communities
lol no
Have you ever sold or used paco or basuco? Have you seen a dead body? Do you live in a slum?
kek no
t. upper caste hindu punjabi with millionaire parents and live in a gated colonial bungalow
actual poorfags/middle class fags from the 3rd world have shit to do, like earn money and focus on career/education. Only us richfags have the luxury to shitpost or browse reddit for hours
i don't live in a gated community
Live in the suburbs, take the train to uni, spend 4 € for a pack of ciggies, and constantly eat out at restaurants. Am I poor by your standards?
>third world
>owns computer
>access to internet
>speaks english
definitely not poor
Is there any way I can help user’s poverty?
i am poor. ask me anything.
You live in a palace though, señora Lynch
this, much less know what Jow Forums is lol
I'm alright not rich and not poor make a decent amount to afford getting on the Internet
I earn $800,000 a year in Atlanta, Georgia.
So, maybe?
The firsties on Jow Forums are likely poorer than thirdies here.
" live in gated communities"
If you live in Sao Paulo, this is not necessary.
The neighborhoods in the central area of the city are safe.
And the countryside of the state is very safe.
>browse reddit
Are you Somali? How did you learn English?
Muslim, correct?
Poor by Moortugal standards is considered wealthy in Africa
What do you do?
reddit is great for actual information on subs like r/askhistorians or r/askscience, can we stop LARPing about le plebbit xDD?
Is this just one dedicated shill trying to convince the rest of us of how great Sao Paulo is, or are there several of you? This city is shilled a lot recently.
>Have you ever sold or used paco or basuco?
nah. only smoke weed ocacionally
>Have you seen a dead body?
yes. a woman had a bike accident and died. i see her dead body. i guess that's is the only one i've ever seen
>Do you live in a slum?
no, but my neighbourhood has a lot of dirt streets and 1/4 of the people is below the poverty line. but most of us work so it's not as bad as a slum, anyways it's not safe to walk at night.
pic related
Yes I'm a Somali of course that makes me a Muslim, as for English I picked it up from a variety of sources mostly NGOs, movies and Diasporans on vacation
t. Higher murder rate than LA
In Brazil, JUST IN RIO DE JANEIRO middle-class neighborhoods are sided by ghettos. In Sao Paulo, just a tiny part of Morumbi.
Don´t know how things are in Northeast because i never went there and never will.
nah.
if you really want to lay a hand, you can come down here and work for some ong. you will meet a lot of hippies.
you will probably have a good time, people will like you and you will always know that eventualy you will go back to your 1st world paradise.
>owns computer
You can find old computers from trash.
>access to internet
Does not cost that much and can possibly be done freely
>speaks english
Not a special skill.
Serious?
Never has happened anything with me here.
Never.
And the shit happens in the ghettos, far away from the central part of the city. We call this shit part "periferia" here.
i don't live in a palace and i never was lynched
>third world
>owns computer
>access to internet
almost every one can do that here. even the poors.
>speaks english
here you are right. not much people speak english. or at least feel ecouraged enough to shitpost on the internet
What brought you here? There is only one other Somali here semi-often.
I came from Reddit and is he a local or diasporan.
LA is only a bit above the US national average murder rate. For BR standards, São Paulo is reasonably safe, at least it's the only state and major city below the UN risk threshold of 10 even if it's not exactly a sanctuary.
It is if you live in a 3rd world shithole, dumb finn
>I came from Reddit
Lel
i'm unironically poor
t. 4.1 real/$
>gated communities
poor af desu
70% of murders in Latin America and 80% in Brazil have no connection with criminality.
They are caused by futile motives, like bar fights, traffic fights, fights at home.
But the right-wingers do not speak of this because they want total freedom to buy arms.
And the left-wingers do not speak of this because they want to continue with the narrative of the "black genocide", which is a complete lie, since less than 5% of the murders in Brazil are committed by state agents.
eh, at least he admits it
you're forgetting about phoneposters
it's far easier to have internet on a shitty smartphone when you're 3rd world than buying an ISP suscription for computers
which one, speaking english? yes
I used to be very, very poor but not anymore thanks to hard work and friendship
>reddit is great for actual information on subs like r/askhistorians or r/askscience, can we stop LARPing about le plebbit xDD?
Do you like manga/anime then?

got like 3k saved up
I guess I'm poor
>eh, at least he admits it
Indeed. It just made me chuckle.
xactly
i have to live with 16 u$sd a week.
Am I a thirdie
Depends on what you consider poor. I'm in the brazilian middle class but comparing my income to most of people in Jow Forums I would probably be considered poor to very poor. I make more or less $13000 per years.now it is a little less because the dollar is very high.
I'm a redditor and proud of it
I'm poor, what do you want to know
Well, that's grim.
I'm heading to Cordoba in a couple of weeks. Anything I should be aware of regarding general etiquette when going outside to not get killed/mugged ?
I haven't heard many bad things regarding Argentina though (besides the latest devaluations of course), just curious
dumb classification, since the Cold War (1) is over
there should be "developed countries" and "developing yet countries" dichotomy instead
try this trichotomy:
developed countries
developing countries
devolving countries
which city are you going?
it's not dangerous here. and your euromoney will worth a lot because of devaluation.
if you are going to a small town, crime there is almost nonexistent
We must be the third
Oh wait were not a country
Don't look like a retard, if it's dark you should head to your hotel, don't look at buildings too much, keep your phone near your body and don't wear sunglasses
This will work in any poor place
t. 3rd worlder
>Don't look like a retard
maybe he can't avoid it
> if it's dark you should head to your hotel
depens on where you are staying.
>don't look at buildings too much
this one doesn't make sense at all.
>keep your phone near your body
you are right about this one.
>don't wear sunglasses
???
>I know most latin americans here are rich and live in gated communities
Not for long though.
>don't wear sunglasses
lol? because he'll look like a CIA agent?
Looking at buildings and wearing sunglasses are clear gringo alerts and lanzas are just going to assume he's gullible/got money
ah lol. i see it now
he has to be very unlucky to meet such a professional and observative thieves
>I know most latin americans here are rich and live in gated communities
>This is what whitoids actually believe
Oh boi, you have no idea...
I unironically live here
I'm rich upper-middle class so idfc honestly.
Landing in Cordoba City then Buenos Aires and after that I'll stay a couple of days in Santiago.
Not planning on spending too much and going overboard with things. Just feel like taking a stroll through comfy places in South America. Might do a pit stop in Uruguay as well tickets are dirt cheap once you are there.
I am quite retard looking and will be bringing my shades with me. Sadly
>I know most latin americans here are rich and live in gated communities
nigga please
You are either a sheltered rich kid or a literal retard, because this line of reasoning is very common among lanzas
I mean think about how you can tell when someone is a tourist just by looking at them
Now this about someone that has to identify them for a living and has been doing it all his adult life
Idk maybe we just have world class thieves
>through comfy places
then why pick Cordoba? go to Bariloche lol
Nope. From a rich jewish type minority here.
Most middle class people won't even reach the knowledge necessary to banter over here in Jow Forums much less finding Jow Forums, which is an unknown concept in India, in a sense being able to take in the nudity, memes, language displayed in here.
you will be fine user. don't worry.
cordoba and buenos aires are safe cities.
the only unsafe areas are the outskirt of it.
but it's not like you are going to get murdered if you come here (conurbano).
then again buenos aires is a very safe city.
Come on user, gringos stand out a lot and are pretty easy to read, even if you are not a thieve you will spot tourists from miles away.
the thing is that in cordoba they don't have many tourist, so i doubt that the rochos/lanzas there have developed such tactic to identify turist.
also this.
paragonia, city of buenos aires>>>>>>rest of the country
whenever someone mentions comfiness, i think of mountains
montains 're nice, after all
do restuarants serve guinea pigs
i think about empty places, and the patagonia is really empty.
Yes, but lately these have gotten expensive.
My uncle and cousin went backpacking in Peru a couple months ago and my uncle posted a pic of his guinea pig plate on Faceberg. He said it was pretty good.
Worked with an Argentinian of Croatian background, hard-working people
> hard-working people
yep, he was half croatian.
Props to your uncle for not being a fag.
>I know most latin americans here are rich and live in gated communities
I can't speak for the rest "latin americans" but is this really the vision you guys have on us? i could understand if you were american since they can't be reason with but come on, you're a swede you should know better.
As for myself i'm middle class and i live just fine
Yeah I was impressed. I'd eat it too but I've never been to Peru.
Latam people here are not poor because we speak English. The average poorfag doesn't ever bother to learn English.
I went to a private school because my family is wealthy, and I'm middle/high class.
I'm sure many fellow Mexicans are like me.
Lel nope I meant what I said, it was a warehouse in Zagreb and while all other workers were exhausted from intense work he considered it the easiest job he's ever done in his life
And with poor I mean actual people who are poor.
Not faggots larping as being poor because "omg I can't afford the latest iphone, I'm so le poor xD"
If you have a computer at home with internet you're definitely far from the definition of "poor" in Mexico.
I make only 750 eur/month.
Planning to come here?
in latam, if you know english, you are not poor.
I’m middle class. There are no gated communities in the city I Iive in.
I'd love to at some point. It looks like a beautiful country and I already love your food based on what I can get here in Burgerland.
>you're a swede you should know better
there's no sensible reason to expect this
i wonder if that's why we latinamericans get mad when someone from the "educated world" can't speak spanish back
What do you eat?
>inb4 barfy
rice, most of the times
i am poor
That's flattening user, thanks. In which places are you interested in user?
