Dad dropped $1500 CAD on the newest samshit phone
Does your dad happen to be a Boomer?
Yes. He's not even a richfag. Hope he returns it.
Is there any reason not to buy samshit? Except the stupid firmware.
Why not?
Thank him for his modest contribution to our economy
>why yes im a consumerist neurotypical with shit taste in everything
Because he's not rich he's a fucking low tier wagecuck, that was like 5% of his savings.
Idk much about phones. I was under the impression that iOS is more secure. MAC address randomization, strict certificate pinning, separate hardware for authentication, etc.
>mfw i've been using a shit chinese phone for 5 years
>that was like 5% of his savings
Don't you guys have free medicine?
>>that was like 5% of his savings

Quintessential 3rd world response
There is more to retirement than not being sick 24/7. Many of our old people use retirement the visit countries and places they didn't visit when having a family and career.
>I was under the impression that iOS is more secure
I was under the impression that iOS is dead meme project and everyone uses android today.
But we have same, idk much about phones either.
Who cares? Healthcare can't save you. The best course of action for him would be to retire and collection his canadian pension in his third world country of origin and leverage his high purchasing power.
the s4 and s5 (i think) are honestly pretty top tier phones that you can find pretty cheap these days, never had a problem with either of them
Dropped 225 on the essential phone. It's awesome.
sorry user :(
i don’t use galaxy too :(
Apple is popular in america for some reason. I don't really have a preference for either.
How is that different from buying a phone? Some people want to travel, some people want new toys.
iOS runs smoother on 1gb of ram - dual core processor than Android does on 4gb - octacore. You can be some Jow Forumstard all you want but there's a clear reason why most people would prefer iOS.
Very true. You can almost always see a bit of lag in various things in Android regardless of specs.
>iOS
>1GB
It's nice if your old apple phone works but what does that have to do with anything?
I have iPhone SE running on the latest iOS. You should try to run the latest Android on a flagship phone released around the same period of time.
Most people on Jow Forums buy one first, then install a lighter version of android, remove half the stock apps and only then claim it's the fastest phone in the universe.
Give me one reason to upgrade from my S7 Edge
The point is that even with 1gb of ram they run smooth as hell, while Android running on Java NEEDS their phones to have 3gb + in order to be called 'fast' and survive the 2 year contract.
Shit, I've never paid more than 350€ for a phone.
ive never bought a phone more than $80, my current one is $40
Overpriced
I got a Xiaomi with the specs of the S8 for half the price. Been three years now
Huawei P20pro is the best phone in the world for its price
I am so happy I ignored the chinkshit memes and purchased it.
You bought trash vaporware with an underpowered battery
got my new OnePlus 6 for ~750 CAD
