>whats your country’s highes value bill?
>how much is it converted to USD?
>do people use it often?
Pic related, mil pesos mexicanos.
Around $53 USD.
Nobody uses this shit. The denomination is way too high for anyone to carry around.

Wow thats way too low. The bills look dope tho
$20000 CLP
$30.4 USD
Not so much. Rarely I see one.
1) 100 dollars
2) I'm not sure, but I think it might be 100 USD
3) It's pretty common if you make a large cash withdrawal at a bank, but few people carry them in daily life. The most commonly used bill is the 20.
Do you live under a rock ?
I was waiting for this post
1000 hrk
equal to 157 usd
oh also forgot to mention
>do people use it often?
No I think it's value makes it to inconvenient so we just use 5×200 to pay in cash
1000 Swedish kronor = 109.97 U.S. dollars
No, ATMs don't have them and we hardly use cash.
Retarded thread because we are not taking into account PPP.
narcos do
Jesus a lot of countries have cheap ass currency. Hopefully ours is too soon so we can cuck yall on trade
No shit, I highly doubt these people know how much ppp their country has / bother to even research it. Shut the fuck up.
500$ Benito
>La Revolución Mexicana
1000$ Zapata o Madero
>El México Contemporáneo
2000$ Cardenas?
I pay all the time with that
You guys almost never have change though
We have $500 bills. At least sometimes, right?
Those were discontinued in 1963. The only bills of higher denomination you might see are for interbank transfers only. Merchants won't accept them.
50 JOD
70 USD

Moneda de 20

Why is that guy so smug looking?
Ohhh fuck
I have three of them
Where'd you get them?
XD
That’s really intersting. Pic?
Dad is a banker and he’s pretty old
Never seen a 200€ bill in my life, 500€ notes are not very handy unless you're buying jewellery, and even then...
mátate
are you racing venezuela to see whose currency falls lower?
I know you are trying to be sassy, but Venezuela is super fucked up right now there’s almost nothing to compare it with.
Wouldn't you be if you were on the money?
$10000. Should be around US$8.5k
No one uses it. The highest I've seen is the blue $1000 bill.
Man, American money has no artistic value.
Kek
Jesus christ, thats a new low
This is really a German thing though, you're probably those in Europe who rely on cash the most
Rp.100.000
$6.84
with that amount of money you can a 3 days worth of breakfast, lunch, and dinner
JUST
Correction, it's only about US$7340.
I like the organic skeletal structure on the back.
I disagree, it's a lot better than Monopoly money Euros for example.
>whats your country’s highes value bill?
200 S/
>how much is it converted to USD?
61.12 USD
>do people use it often?
It is not as used as the other bills, but you can still say that a big amount of people uses it regularly to pay their debts.
bong here
because someone will do the UK I'll do China
100RMB
US$14.67
Yeah it's pretty common for cash. It's the only bank note you can withdraw from cashpoints/ATMs
However like I'm sure most of you know mobile payments are super popular here. I last used cash a couple of weeks ago only because I was trying to make my wallet smaller. I can do everything from buying a bottle of water to paying my fare on the bus/metro to buying a laptop by having someone scan a QR code on my phone or scanning someone else's QR code
>using cash
>using physical money
how much does a soda cost in pesos though for reference.
mobile payments always sounded super risky to me, what if you lose your phone. also why do you need qr codes for that, i believe google pay or apple pay don't need that stuff. i don't like paywave either, it's even less protected than phone payments
3 litres = 36 pesos
Yeh pretty much. A simple can of Coke is arounf 12.5 pesos.
>ajajaj eres prieto y pobre XD vete a tu escuela pública pinche indio lmao
How much does a coke cost for reference though.
damn, so thats actually a significant amount of money. I didn't realize the discrepancy. Without sounding like too much of an asshole I just realized how much I really never learned to give a shit about our neighbors to the south.. and I know most of us are the same way.
>$1000
>$771.10 USD
>lolno
technically not even minted anymore but there are still quite a lot in circulation, but literally only triads and the mafia or whatever use them
5000 rubles = 74.09$
Hey its ok. Here a lot of things cost a lot less than in the USA, its all part of the ppp and the market. People get used to it anyways.
yah thats true, the whole medical tourism aspect. If I wasn't going to NZ for a working holiday id actually be going down there to get braces put on. Sick of my teeth but would rather not dent my bank 4-8k depending on where go.
cost of a coke?
yep there's definitely a risk to it
I'd be fucked if I lost my phone, I have more money in my virtual wallet than I do in my real wallet + chinese bank account. I have enough cash to pay for the metro to get home and tell my host family but still. Touch wood, only ever lost one phone in the last 10 years and even then it was only for like 10 minutes when I was really drunk.
QR codes are used because NFC bank card readers are actually pretty expensive, like $200 or something for a single one. Fine if you take in a few hundred or thousand dollars a day, but if you have a stall outside a metro station selling $0.29 steamed buns, it's cheaper to print out a QR code. QR codes have become so ubiquitous, the only thing I've ever used my Chinese bank card for is withdrawing cash to pay for rent or tuition and pay for the metro and bus in another city. I bought my $350 phone with a QR code. For large purchases you have to enter a 5 or 6 digit code and/or fingerprint to confirm. For small purchases you just open the app, go to the QR code, scan, and you're done.
500ml bottle is like $0.60, could be a bit more could be a bit less
~1$ for 2l
>How much does a coke cost for reference though.
2.25liters=0.60gallons= 2.50u$s
ah gotcha.
It's a fun thread don't post if you don't like it
>Don Porfirio
>Thread is now a mexican Jow Forums
Thanks for sharing your bills guys, i liked the argentinian ones, the russian one, the canadian one, the chinese one, the one from singapore, the jordanian one, the croatian one, the danish one and the romanian one, the ones from the EU and the american dollar should kys.
I should buy some property in Patagonia desu. Comfy winters and fly-fishing.
Op here.
Im super sorry that some autists transformed this into a politics thread.
Keep posting your bills, they are super interesting.
5000 RSD = €42.29
it is extremely uncommon
2l coke = €1.09
>100 reais
>around 25 USD
>yeah, its not hard to see one
A 500ml bottle costs 2.50 s/, about 0.76 USD
