When did you accept that Americans, despite their many flaws, really are the good guys?

I'm American and almost 40 and I'm not sure about this myself.

I like to think of us more as the most palatable bad guys.

>it's a self-hating american expects the whole board to pity him episode #4235262463456346
America might suck but people like you are the root cause of it.

I didn't say any of that, only you did.

Because you're the exact same faggot who was born into a rich family and wants to erase his nationality upon moving to X country in Europe (changes every time) despite never getting a job outside your English teaching gig in Japan (you left out of rage there yourself).

Y-you too.
Anglosphere must always look out for each other.

Is this some of that patented British sarcasm I hear so much about?

they pay taxes to protect us, instead of being grateful we just laugh at them
if they made us pay for our own protection we would be the ones microwaving water
just think about that

I wasn't fond of your imperial phase, but we did the same thing to Indians, so I don't have much room to preach.
We have each other's backs, Winston.

You're confusing me with someone else. And overreacting in general.

We're not "the good guys". That's a pretty naive view of the world and we've definitely done our fair share of fucking over other countries as well as fucking over American citizens. However, I'd rather have America be the world's superpower over China.

Good post.

post-FDR america, no
truman was a shit that started souring relations with the only other superpower in the world, inevitably leading to cold war
this same cold war involved the US propping up many right-wing dictatorships around the world to counter any left wing regimes (which were democratically elected at least half of the time)
in latin america alone, this set back workers rights and economic equality decades in the region, while also allowing (usually either american or brit-based) multinationals to extract huge sums of wealth without putting really anything back into these countries due to exploitative IMF/World Bank programs supported by the US and these far right regimes
after seeing the post-war success of nations like Singapore and Japan and the threat of third world nations being able to have their own agency through economic power, these int'l US-backed financial institutions restructured their programs to be far more exploitative to centralize wealth and economic power in specific developed nations to maintain status quo

if you want to see a truly decent american politician, go see Henry A. Wallace for reference, whose career was cut short by his party literally shutting off the electricity at their primaries before Wallace was able to be nominated, while half of the stadium was chanting his name for god's sake

We're not the bad guys, we're not the good guys.. we are THE guys.

Wait, how do you heat up water?

Never. I don't practice self deception.

I for one dream of the day when the Commonwealth takes its rightful place in the halls of Congress with the full and equal representation that we ourselves were denied three centuries ago, thus securing the future of liberty and freedom on this Earth in the face of the Oriental Menace

The fuck? Has autism gone too far?

rub it between my hands for a bit

I think your mistaking America being the good guys with Americans being the good guys.

Fuck, we really are 3rd world.

They're the type to turn up on an ally if he emits a rightful concern about their wrong doings.
The type to spit on him, ridicule him and even change name of their beloved dishes to try and be smug about it.
then come back ten years later and say he was right.

If a person did you that, how would you feel about him?
that's right

This.

When my ISP is an american company, i pray for you, americans.

Bait

You were never our ally

>1800's
get out of my texas you yankees
>WWI
America? Well, nice presidents and good military
>WWII
literally Soviets won that war, non even the americans
>Paficic war
Thank you U.S., for this time srsly
>Cold war
?????? As i know every fucking human on earth know that Capitalism was and will BE the natural form of our evolution. USSR just cannot stay more and die by she self. America did not won anything
>Bush autistic wars
poor arabs americans just were the evil guys
>NK acusses the USA and JP
Trump vs Kim Jon ,literally they are the same

Texas is rightful US clay

noted.

If It makes you feel any better, my dad always flew a French flag right under the American flag on the 4th of July. I do the same thing.

Some of us remember that if it wasn’t for you, we’d be speaking English right now.

the bourgeosie state that governs USA has done terrible things and are most definitely the bad guys.
fuck, they've killed 30,000 people in my country alone in the name of capitalism with their imperialist measures.

but the people of USA have nothing to do with it, unless ofcourse they openly support everything their gorvernment has ever done in the name of capitalism.

I just wanted to make that clear for any americans that might think the world hates them, we just hate the state, not you or your culture specifically.

>If you don't buy me a pizza you will die
Literally it was the war for Texas ,you forced the young mexico to fight with oviously winner

Most of us are completely in the dark about what our government has done to South America. Those of us that know feel pretty powerless to do anything about it. I appreciate your charitable opinion of us.

I appreciate that, but you're probably being too kind. We do elect our leaders after all.

France was like a friend that you let crash at your place for free, put him back on his feet, and didn't ask for much in return except to do the dishes once and a while. You couldn't even do the dishes, even if maybe us, your friend who let you crash on our couch made most of them... it's pathetic.

It was more like we forced you to sell the pizza to us at gun point, but we did pay a fair price

name a more iconic trio

Attached: 1521622371599.jpg (628x432, 47K)

You do realize we couldn’t have won the war of independence without French help, right? We sort of owed them one.

you don't really have that much choice in the elections though, they're all capitalists and imperialists, the only option you have is whether you give the poor bread and circuses or not.
and most people in the world are indoctrinated by the state that governs them, I can't really blame them.

Not really, they completely accomplished everything they wanted with us, a weakened Britian. We owed them nothing further.

Saying we owed them for independence is like a roommate that says you owe them for paying a deposit when you moved in after the deposit was paid and ancient history.

well a cheap price

Only retards cared that you didn't follow us into that clusterfuck quagmire that was the Iraq war.

Protip: it's the same retarded neocon/neolibs who are sucking off McLame's corpse and kvetching about Trump

What have they done that caused the argentinean deaths?

Who would be better than America?
Nobody.

They bankrupted themselves doing it. Whether or not their motives were altruistic, their actions were fundamental to our formation as a country. In my books, that call for some reciprocity.

Besides, it’s not like our motives were purely altruistic when we paid them back.

personal sovereignty

Canada, obviously.

What does that even mean?
Canada can't rule or do shit.

during the cold wart (70's) our socialist parties were growing fast as fuck, and USA politicians were afraid we might become "friends" with the USSR so they imposed bloody capitalist anti-communist dictatorships all over latin america before we could turn socialist, torturing and killing dissidents (left wingers).

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Condor

When I was 21 and had traveled to a few other countries

>cold wart
obviously meant war lmao

According to every Canadian I’ve ever spoken to, Canada is superior to the US in every possible metric.

>When did you accept that Americans, despite their many flaws, really are the good guys?
Americans were the good goys since at least 1942

Didn’t have to pay at all

USA and Australia also killed half a million commies and crypto commies in South East Asia, they literally sent over the names of people their intelligence agencies suspected of being communists, full well knowing they'd be killed. It is a giant chessboard, and no empire lasts forever though USA will reap what it sowed.

we also used bottlenose dolphins for this task

Attached: miliatry-dolphin_2016_04_18.jpg (708x698, 149K)

No no no you meant cold wart

Like the cold treatment they use on warts

hahaha, silly argie

Good joke.made me reply.

Somewhere between the time I learned that our founding fathers told your monarchs to fuck off and whenever we got to WW1/2.

Attached: washington won't save the british children.jpg (424x402, 45K)

I will never forgive America for separating us from Spain.

but it was justified because something something boiler exploded something something spain's fault

Shut the fuck up islander

Now send more thicc boricuas

Haha that’s me not him

this is true can confirm from anecdotal Canadian testimony

god this was such a horrible idea
wish the spaniards had to exist with you literal subhuman goblin people instead of you coming here
I would not hesitate in eliminating the entire Puerto Rican population were it up to me

>ww2
>attacked by japs
>even though 2 weren't enough america rebuilds the country
>japs almost take over the fucking world with their electronics (not even meming)
>enacts the marshall plan to rebuild europe
>even though g*rmany started chimped out america goes out of its way to whitewash the krauts as good boy who dindu nuffin
>korean war
>stop spicy krauts from conquering backwater peninsula
>rebuild gook country
>goes from mud hut shithole to a shithole that makes electronics and anime for japs

>has a military base in almost every country in the world
>pays to have them their

all of those things were done in the name of capitalism and to perpetuate capitalism.
USA did none of those things out of having a kind heart, they did it to stablish and keep their hegemony.

Attached: 1534627740644.jpg (3456x5184, 1.22M)

tell me, do you think your parents raise you because they love you or expect a return on investment?

they obviously do it because they love me.

>USA and Australia also killed half a million commies and crypto commies in South East Asia, they literally sent over the names of people their intelligence agencies suspected of being communists, full well knowing they'd be killed.
Thankfully no actual people died, just commies.

>these people are not people because I don't like them

Attached: 1512331841575.png (645x729, 68K)

wrong, all of those things were done in the name of capitalism and to perpetuate capitalism.

your parents did none of those things out of having a kind heart, they did it to stablish and keep their family line.

are Germany and Japan USA's children in this retarded analogy?

I don't accept fiction

your point that america does everything in the name of "capitalism" is a meaningless view in its purest form.

if the soviets were still around, they would be in awe of how far reaching their propaganda still is to this day.

kys

>your point that america does everything in the name of "capitalism" is a meaningless view in its purest form.
that's not an argument.

>if the soviets were still around, they would be in awe of how far reaching their propaganda still is to this day.
soviets? what the fuck are you talking about?

>who would be better
>nobody
Exactly

Attached: image.png (500x689, 57K)

>19th century shit with Manifest Destiny
Alright fine, similar ideas were held all over the world. In retrospect it was fucked up, but let's move on
>Pax Americana, and the Progressive Era
Some good intentions even though it's again fucked up in retrospect
>WW1 and WW2
Good intentions, and I don't think anyone faults America apart from the bomb, but whatever let's move on
>Cold war
America made lots of monumental mistakes that they're unapologetic. Okay, I can understand the deep fear of a communist takeover since it was legitimately a huge movement that divided almost all countries
>Post Cold-war
Now you fucking lost me. Who the fuck gives a shit about goatfuckers? You bombed the wrong goatfuckers! Multiple times! Fuck America.

Attached: 1523668982815.jpg (1024x576, 113K)

Hi losers, your telling me we're evil? really? you don't know what your talking about evil.

Your jealous because we know we're good and successful and your not.

Your jealous, your just like a RAT, jumping around the corner looking for some food. very jealous.

>that's not an argument.

really ask yourself what is capitalism? what the actual fuck is money? why does gold or paper money have any sort of influence whatsoever on any kind of human behavior?

until then, keep autistically screeching words like "capitalism" as the ((((reason))))) america does what it does.

>soviets? what the fuck are you talking about?

do they not teach the cold war in your schools? or do you learn history through memes and 3 minute youtube videos?

>really ask yourself what is capitalism?
private ownership of the means of production, which generates enslaving wage labour.

>why does gold or paper money have any sort of influence whatsoever on any kind of human behavior?
because it's the system imposed over the entire world by the superpower, they have to care about money otherwise they can't survive.

>do they not teach the cold war in your schools? or do you learn history through memes and 3 minute youtube videos?
this is not an answer.
why the fuck did you even start moaning about the soviets?
