It's too long

Yeah, let's hear it.

>waste

Kys

Not the whole thing dingus

You shouldn't be ashamed of it, are you an atheist?

>It's too long
just a page or two should be good

Yeah like being surrounded by pedos under an abusive teacher memorizing useless stuff is not a waste
It's 5AM, it would wake someone up
Not an atheist but it's very useless, this time could have been invested in learning anything else and it would have been better

So whisper it owo

kys

All that brainspace... wasted... like tears in the rain.

That's nice, never went past al fatiha and some others.

>I can recite it. All of it
Can you become a mufti and give fatwa by doing that?

you cant criticize it if you haven't read it

na, it'll probably help him to memorize other stuff 2bh

No. We just memorize it without understanding most of it, it needs better understanding of Arabic.

Isn't Arabic your native language? Shouldn't you already have a netter understanding of your language?

god i wish i could remember al fatiha

Islam is a based religion bros

Arabic is fucking hard, especially classical arabic, which is what the Quran uses. Also, no one "reads" the Quran, they just memorize it and go "wow it's so beautiful", like the other guy said.

You need a large vocabulary for it

>they just memorize it and go "wow it's so beautiful
You don't think it is?

I don't know, I don't pay much attention to it, I'm not very religious. It can sound nice I guess but I can't really understand what any of it means on a deeper level so I don't really think it is.

no one actually understands half of the shit written in there

>kill people over holy book
>can't even understand it
You're joking.

>Isn't Arabic your native language?
>He doesn't know

Standard Arabic, which is based on Classical Arabic(the language of the Quran), isn't the first language of anyone alive.

It's like telling a spaniard/italian to read proto-italic(which is the predecessor of Latin - the predecessor of all romance languages) and assume that he will understand all of it.

Attached: capture.jpg (274x449, 38K)

It's a single page, dude.

Classical Arabic is easier to understand than modern and it is more verbose.

Sandniggers ruined their own language by being retarded for centuries.

>Classical Arabic is easier to understand than modern and it is more verbose.
In no way possible is CA easier to understand than MSA. Ask literally any MENA flag and he will tell you the same thing. CA's grammar is insanely difficult.

>Sandniggers ruined their own language by being retarded for centuries.
That isn't what happened though. Try forcing a language on so many different people. Eventually, your original language will become corrupt and end up as a bunch of dialects which are partially mutually intelligible. Every dialect borrows different parts of CA and the precursor language of each dialect significantly affects the modern dialect. This results in modern-day Arabic: A fragmented continuum of "dialects".

>In no way possible is CA easier to understand than MSA.

Heh, maybe for a retarded sub 80 IQ sandnigger like you.

Yeah, dark times in islam rn

>t. Doesn't even know Arabic or some diasporashit who was never taught CA/MSA and has the audacity to call me a "sub 80 IQ sandnigger" for thinking that CA is much more difficult than MSA

Are you the Iraqi subhuman?

Attached: 12984128.jpg (1228x1150, 71K)

Heh, just like jews reciting the torah.

CA is harder user, highschool poetry is considered the hardest subject by many students here if not all. And Quran's style is way more complex.

What else is it important to memorize so you can recite it mindlessly without even understanding it?

Pi?

It always kill me when a sjw ask any right-wing person if they had read the Qu'ran, considering that when you really had you only can recognize how violent it is.

lefties will often claim this in discussions about muslims
they always lie

Aren't there any translations into modern Arabic dialects?

This blows my mind.

You aren't supposed to translate it. Think of it like the Latin Vulgate.

>translating the quran
you would be put to death for even suggesting this in some places

Sounds like you haven't read it. There is a great deal more in it than just violence, there is also equally many passages that can be used to say violence is forbidden. Just like there is conflicting claims about violence in the bible.

Attached: islam kanye meme.png (243x293, 58K)

No, because muslims believe the koran wasn't written by humans, but is the actual, literal word of god, and any changing of the text, by translating to other languages or simplifying what it says in the same language even takes away that ultimate legitimacy. That's why translations of the koran usually go under a different name, like "the messages of the koran" or something.

So it's basically like christianity in the dark ages?

Yeah, but it's kinda late.

Bible is much more clear though, especially the NT, which are 4 books telling basically the same story in a chronological fashion, a book about the apostle's lives after Christ, a bunch of letters by Paul and the revelation of John, perhaps the most difficult ones as it describes a vision.

Not being chronological is the most annoying thing about it.

If by the American term "dark ages" you mean the era before protestantism then yes. And that's a good thing, far too many heretical translations were circulating with grave errors added both through poor translation skills and with malicious intention.

I haven't really read the quran so I can't say that there are no passages that forbid violence in it. However I often see (nearly always left-wing people) citing some passage from the quran to prove that islam is a religion of peace. I've started to actually look up the verse they're referring to, to read it in context and every single time it doesn't say what the person quoting it thinks it says.

For example there's this line that often gets quoted, it goes something like "whoever kills someone unjustly it is as if you have killed all of humanity". Not a direct quote, just going off memory. Posted by some leftie to counter 'neo nazi bigots' or whatever. I then went to look up the verse and it turns out this line was preached by muslims to jews because at the time jews were being somewhat rebelious against their muslim overlords and there were series of jew-on-muslim killings in some cities. Not only that but after that verse followed like 3 pages filled with details about punishments the jews would suffer for each crime, with examples like if you do crime x your hand gets chopped off, if you do crime y then you'll lose an arm and a leg, etc. The "no killing" line was not aimed at muslims.

Again I haven't actually read the quran apart from some tiny parts that I come across in conversations with other people, so I can't claim that the quran is wholly a violent book, but I find it peculiar that in my experience when someone cites the quran as being peaceful, you'll find they're pulling something waaay out of context.

You talk a lot with leftists about it? Seems like you'd get more concrete examples from actual muslims, or islamic scholars who have written about the topic.

youtube.com/watch?v=gtOYL4cqg2A

I'd only discuss with muslims if I could look up their citations on the spot. I don't trust muslims to be honest about the quran, I've seen imams in this country be disingenuous about it on national television, in newspapers etc. Like some islamic teacher whining in some debate show about how muslims can't kill innocents in a time of war, so those jihadis aren't "real muslims", but then he conveniently leaves out another passage of the quran where it describes who counts as 'being involved' in the war and it turns out you can define pretty much the entire population of any Western country as fair game for muslims to target.

I apologize for not giving specific details and citations, this is stuff I looked up years ago and I'm just going off memory. I quickly became jaded about the subject and stopped looking into it.

Going from CA to MSA is like going from C to Java, your fault for learning MSA and being a moron. It's like saying Cantonese is hard because you learned Mandarin. Sandniggers are just dumb as fuck and arrogant to boot.

I see what you mean, but don't you think it's more useful to treat islam based on what it's adherents believe and say, rather than on what you think their holy text means? I mean religious people can misinterpret and justify anything they want based on scripture, and do so to sometimes ridiculous extremes. If muslims in Belgium think it's haram to kill people, and justify this belief based on something the book says, does it matter that it seems like a stretch if you look at the text? If you ask me all religious belief is just an excercise in self delusion.

I unironically tried to read it (for culture purpose) and it was a chore. Looks like more a bad law book than "divine", really doesn't understand the appeal.

get the fuck out of my country

It's not Saudi Arabia

>on national television, in newspapers etc
tbqh everything there is disingenuous, journalists are whores, professional liars and the scum of the earth.

I think the most problems muslims have is the lack of a central authority that has countered heretical and erroneous teachings and interpretations through the centuries.
Giving that islam has its roots in a handful of christian heresies such as arianism, ebionites and gnostic sects from the levant, all very decentralised from the start, it is a normal outcome inho.

Islam aside, I have become considerably happier since I started reading the Bible.

PREACH NIGGA PREACH

In classical pronounciation?

Isn't Yemenite Arabic basically the same as CA?

Why and how so? What do you read?

Well, I was a hardcore atheist for a good portion of my life and I felt increasingly drawn to God as time went by, because I went through some rough periods. I read some chapters of Genesis, Exodus and other books, as well as the book of John, which tells of the deeds of Jesus Christ.
I don't want to go out of my way to prove that God exists, I just feel as if beautiful scriptural truths have been laid out to me.

Yes

Old Testament is Jewish bullcrap. Doesn't count.

But Jesus references the old testament. Says that he has come to enforce the old jewish laws,

i cant even recite al fatiha :^) (unironicaly)
