Better version of Poland.

Stole our cities

A country with great history.

for some reason they decided to become Polish slaves in 1444

we were brother nations

nice language

In 1386 or eventually in 1569 desu.

based and redpilled

Sounds african.

>yes i take my history lessons from paradox games

Was a part of Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, helped us several times to fight turks

more butthurt than us

They like to kill themselves.

It was an abusive marriage.

One spouse was young and had a bright future, but decided to sacrifice it all for the good of the union. The other was Lithuania, right in the middle of being gobbled up by Muscowy.

a lithuanian qt says lithuanians are potato people

Nice medieval folk (youtube.com/watch?v=ObZFt4oRFUU)

anime

I always confuse it with Latvia.

Maybe I'm naive, but I still prefer Litvins over Ukrainians and Ruskies.
The latter are supposedly friendlier on average, but they're a loose cannon and can murder you while still smiling and being friendly.
Litvins are at least open and honest in their butthurt and bitterness, and that's something I can relate to, even if it's against me.

Back in the 15th century when all stuff involving Lithuania and Poland took place, Lithuania served us as rather a cannon fodder with only purpose to be thrown at the enemy. Lithuanian Nobles were no better, they've converted to Catholicsm and quickly polonized themselves in favor of acquiring new privileges those who became more *polish* remained polish ever since. To summarize Lithuania is one the worst countries in Europe, not to mention how many times they'd betrayed us. Lithuania should resign its Historical heritage in favor of Poland.

Can you explain that pic for me? I don't get it

It's a bit like those pictures of Sven "civilizing" backwards Finns

>Maybe I'm naive, but I still prefer Litvins over Ukrainians and Ruskies.

You are naive. Lithuanians hate us guts and are extremely butthurt, because they believe we screwed up their empire.

kys, arrogant poleshit

Are those buildings in Klaipėda? For some reason I thought it's in Poland

>not to mention how many times they'd betrayed us
??
There was one time during the deluge and it was some of our Northern nobles.
We are, most of our national dishes are made of potatoes and pork.

Nah we hate you because your diaspora in Lithuania is pro-russian Kremlin puppets.

Polish delusions.

It doesn't look like Klaipeda. It's clearly PLC baroque.

Definitely not Klaipėda. Probably Krakow or something.
What said. Few people actually care about Wilno.

Your country has been founded on the ruins of ours imao. Back to working at Biedronka bydlo

You did literally everything possible to antagonise the Poles in Lithuania. I have family among them and they are very butthurt on your language policies as well as general hostility of the population.

The reason why they look at Kremlin is because our own government showed them finger in order to improve relations with Lithuania.

What language policies? I know 20-30 yo poles who live like third generation here and don't even speak Lithuanian. Although they speak russian

You ain't better than Russians who as well pretend that we opress them here

Russians and polish people are like fifth column in Lithuania and serves for Russians

Although I have nothing against Poland or polish people in poland

Very grim place; very grim thread.

Lithuanians are the bydlo of Europe. One of my family members lived among Lithuanians, they said it's the worst experience in their entire life. Not only do the Lithuanians imply Slavs are subhuman they also claim to be superior.

>Lithuanians are the bydlo of Europe
So are you, desu. We're not at all different.
this

want to try this desu

Why does a thread about an irrelevant eastern european shithole have almost 40 posts early in the morning/afternoon?

>What language policies?

Place names, street names, documents and so on. They cannot have it in Polish language even though there are large areas where Poles are majority. Meanwhile Lithuanians in Poland have pic related.

Knowing Easter Asian lactose intolerance I would say you will shit yourself

Daily reminder that Lithuania should have been Swedish clay and if it would have been Swedish clay just like Estonia and Latvia, it would have been a better country today.

Not a lot desu, but I was there on vacation once and had a great time.

It's fairly easy to make. Some sliced hard-boiled eggs, Kefir, dill for the taste, some cucumbers and that's it. You eat it with boiled potatoes.
Sounds pretty bad, but it's actually alright.

You would have lost it to Russia, just like you lost Finland and Estonia.

The only reason why Poland and Lithuania aren't Swedish clay was your king's autism and the fact that your soldiers couldn't hold their hands in their pockets.

The gay would quickly arise in those countries though.

Serious Eastern European shit going down here.
This. PLEASE TAKE US SVEN!

Autism was a genetic disease in our royal family

Maybe, but it would still have been more developed. Also Anglos meddled in our affairs all the time which is the reason why Charles X didn't unite all of Scandinavia under our banner.

Arrogant and stupid.

Additional reminder that Anglo subhumans are responsible for everything bad in the world

i can't tell our flags from each other

Sweden is rightful Danish clay, desu.

Russhits and poleshits are the same imperialist scum.

Sometimes I can't either, especially in dim lighting. And if the colours of of a Lithuanian flag get bleached and I look at it in poor lighting conditions, it kinda looks like that 90's Russian flag.

Mykhaylo, please.

I thought Polish butthurt over Lvov is mostly a meme. You shouldn't be glorifying Bandera, though. You need friends now, not enemies.

I have a strong blue light filter on 90% of the time and I confuse both of your flags, plus some other countries.

Danes can't fight wars so it doesn't matter

That is just very minor issue which don't cause any danger for polish people culture. And it's literally in what Russia capitalize on to make Poland go against Lithuania.

It just simple that Lithuanian is public language in Lithuania so all documentation should be made in Lithuanian. We would have change your constitution otherwise. It's like if Russians here would ask to write their names in krashdanka

Like I said your language and culture is not on danger here. Quit opposite. Some Polish people live like forever here and don't even speak Lithuanian and won't assimilate and that makes their life harder since you can't find good job in Lithuania without speaking Lithuanian and you stay second class citizen alcoholic bydlo

Says the one whose country exists for less than Australia

Danes are the most alpha vikangz.

If you define alpha by starting wars and losing them all the time, sure

It is a meme. Nobody want's it back, largely owing to its current state and what kind of people inhabit it.

We are butthurt about Wolyn, especially since Ukrainians go in lengths to deny it. Which is quite ironic because they themselves fight for the recognition of holodomor.

They call their folk songs "daina", we call ours "doină".

Denmark is a better country to live in, that's all that matters, frankly.

I agree. Not just better, but a whole lot better desu. No comfy nature though.

>That is just very minor issue which don't cause any danger for polish people culture.

If it's just a minor issue, what prevents you from doing a goodwill gesture and allowing the Poles to have bilingual signs?

>It just simple that Lithuanian is public language in Lithuania so all documentation should be made in Lithuanian. We would have change your constitution otherwise.

That's BS and you should know that. In our constitution Polish is also the official language, but this does not prevent us from allowing other languages to be also used by the administration in areas where minorities are. The inhabitants are allowed to have bilingual signs and to be serviced by the local administration in their mother language. Aside from Lithuanian, same privileges are awarded to German, Ukrainian, Belarusian and Kashubian languages.

NORDIC

I'm moving to Denmark permanently soon, to live with my Danish gf.

Lycka till :)

I talk about documentation. If we would want allow polish people use their alphabet in passports we would have do referendum to change our Constitution

About street signs as I know its allowed to have polish text but there should be text translation in Lithuanian as well near

I wouldn't have a problem with there being a second page on a passport where the name could be written using native writing.

Nobody cares about this shit if I remember correctly it was political stunt to show slaves that government debils doing "things"

Attached: 1507739858905.png (850x768, 572K)

that's danzig

Context on pic?
Also, diaspora?

We have more Poles than there are people in the Baltics, almost. Many of whom will never return home and will live in Britain forever. Why aren't you asking for the same treatment here? Because you know you'd get laughed at.

a person I know is from there. His accent is hilarious

Because Poles in Lithuania are native population, not some diaspora who just came there to work. Nobody is claiming minority rights for Poles in Germany either, even though there's some old Polish emigration in the Ruhr area that dates back to 19th century.

>We have more Poles than there are people in the Baltics
You means people in the Baltics still left in the country, not whole population.
>Why aren't you asking for the same treatment here? Because you know you'd get laughed at.
Because they are already treated good you fuckwit.

We have Poles going back several centuries.

Yea like coming back every 3 weeks back totaly diaspora

Same as Poles from Lithuania.

Thanks for the passive aggressive answer trucker user.

He's not diaspora, he's a gay norwegian who is learning lithuanian just so he could find some gay priest in Lithuania

Their language sounds pretty ancient. Would like to read or hear more about it, compare it to Indian languages or Latin as there are similarities.

The Poles here speak an interesting creole of Polish, Russian and Belarusian. My Polish roommate told me he doesn't like the sound of mainland Poland. It's interesting stuff.

I also know a pole from Lithuania, he's my colleague. You don't know how much banter he gets from all of us kek

You seem to fail in understanding that UK was never a Polish property, unlike the lands that they used to live.

O Wilniaus nepamirsk lenke

That's the main reason why a foreigner would learn this language, afaik.
Thanks for the writing system, btw.

Tu gal homofobas?

Vilnius mūsų, o mes rusų :))))))
Neither was Lithuania. Though I see your point, most of them aren't immigrants here.

Awesome nature, last non LARP preserver of paganism also that boy who got killed by an arab in a school for standing up for a girl

I've been in Vilnius and Kaunas and they both were very nice cities. Hotels and food are quite reasonably priced. Why do all the taxi drivers only speak Russian?

They don't speak any creole polish, they speak pure polish but with accent that is influenced. They don't speak like russians speaking polish, because that sounds different, it's really hard to explain. But they do have accent their words are unchanged. Some people actually speak proper polish accent though.

Aš tai rusofobas.

taip

Wilno and surrounding was polish land until 1945 and lithuanian genocide of (most of) polish population.

Because most of old trash drive taxi who at best speak only in russian
