Why is the target higher this time and why isnt it coming back down like the other times?
Can anyone explain this?
bump, the following days are CRUCIAL for bitcorn
Probably not. Most people here are pennystock traders or idiots.
How are people this stupid?
total hashrate is going up (BTC+BCH) and there is a lot more variance in block times.
Do you understand hashing and how it relates to mining? Not trying to be a dick but if you're trying to read these tea leaves you might want to browse a few articles before you burn yourself.
hashrate is dropping but nobody really knows why. most speculate that the bch people are deliberately manipulating the hashrate. same kind of thing happened during the fork.
I know what hashrate and mining is and works thats not the issue. I just don't understand why the days for difficulty retarget stay high?
Is it bitmain playing tricks for consensus?
There was a massive decrease in blocks produced on the 12th and 13th, likely due to a massive amount of miners being turned off.
watch the last episode of silicon valley, it's basically what's happening at the moment (kind of)
Can someone explain for a brainlet? Thanks
bcore is kill.
what does this mean for us right now? am I safe in bch?
My friend, you are in the ark and the great flood is falling. You are in the bunker and the nukes are flying. You are in the tank and the bullets are plinking.
You are in a motherfucking rocket ship. And the planet is about to get annihilated.
it's not kill, but they sure are trying
Calm down user, now is not the time for fear. That comes later.
blockstream and axa/bilderbergs see the writing on the wall, they are trying to secure hash power and might be testing the waters or even turning a large amount off (at a short term oppurtunity loss) to keep difficulty lower in case jihan jumps ship they can throw everything they got to try to get to that next 2016 block adjustment
Can a non-retard (so no cashies), explain that chart?
Everything that cashie's post is always incorrect or misleading in some way, but would still be cool to get the quick run down
> can someone from a mainstream media source please explain why we're still actually going to be ok? I'm scared.
The absolute STATE of coretards.
It is simply an estimate as to how close we are to a difficulty adjustment based on how fast blocks are being produced in the past 12 hours.
This is normal variance and you are all retarts or shills.
Did you guys see consensus today? Do you realize how much money, development and infrastructure is invested in Bitcoin? Jihan could throw a tantrum, but he won't, because he knows it would be but a speed bump.
YOU LOST. GET OVER IT.
Cool. why is it going up again? Just random variance? Because the BTC hashrate dominance is rising, if anything.
(((you)))
Everything is pointing towards new BCH ATH.
4k$+ in few months.
Ahhh the salt. I love watching the five stages of grief unfold in real time.
It looks like there was a large amount (~33%) of hashrate of sha256 taken offline a couple days ago but it appears to be all back now.
Weird. New ASICs being tested?
could be. samsung is the new asic kid on the block. the chinese don't have a monopoly anymore.
Don't worry, user. Your coin is totally safe...
Just think happy thoughts like the the rest of bcore followers and ignore the technical stuff. See attached.
Indeed. Those bags aren't going to hold themselves!
>all other pow chains are beta projects
haha ok, pic related faggots BCH doesn't solve this
