>A peer can return the results of a query to an application immediately because all the information required to satisfy the query is in the peer’s local copy of the ledger. Peers do not consult with other peers in order to return a query to an application. Applications can, however, connect to one or more peers to issue a query – for example to corroborate a result between multiple peers, or retrieve a more up-to-date result from a different peer if there’s a suspicion that information might be out of date. Sound familiar?
"Business blockchain systems can apply time or token-based resource management techniques to ensure that any particular smart contract does not consume excessive resources." Geeee sounds kinda familiar eh?
so why call it chainCODE and not chainLINK? good god you're deluded
Grayson Hall
Why call it Cryptlets and not chainlink? They are building their own systems on top of the chainlink infrastructure.
David Sanchez
If they are I want them to fucking announce the name so that normies could FOMO.
Justin James
>I want them to pump it EARLY so I can SELL at $5 t. brainlet
Owen Mitchell
no they're NOT you idiot, or else it would have been mentioned.
Lucas Butler
Jesus Christ user what's with the Scooby doo shit? Early on you could say oh they only get one chance to launch etc etc but if they already have working products with fucking Microsoft just announce it why the fuck would you not? It doesn't have to be a time square billboard just say "yeah that's our shit"
Logan Evans
Securities laws.
Julian Stewart
bollocks.
Andrew Bennett
what securities law would they be breaking? cite ur sources linktard
Easton Sanchez
provide proof u no linker. cite ur sources faggot
Jackson Wright
this user is correct, link being classified as a security would take a shit on this whole project in a heartbeat ESPECIALLY since they had an ico
Daniel Walker
There is no securities law that says you have to lie about clients. Don't be retarded.
Jose James
What the FUCKKKK! I just read it. >What is Chaincode? >Chaincode is a program, written in Go, node.js, and eventually in other programming languages such as Java, that implements a prescribed interface. Chaincode runs in a secured Docker container isolated from the endorsing peer process. Chaincode initializes and manages ledger state through transactions submitted by applications.
Why is no one saying anything about this user??? I don't understand!
Grayson Morales
If they promote it without having a product they would be implying that you will make money if you invest in Link.
That is a big no no.
Now go away you fucking low iq no link nigger.
Anthony Green
Correct answer.
Aaron James
Lol gtfo with that shit. "Promoting". It's not "promoting" to state facts. When people ask Rory direct questions and he's like "hmmm we shall see what we shall see" that is arguably more like promotion than just saying "yes, correct."
Fucking huge, I think companies are wrapping chainlink and selling the product as their own. CHAINLINK IS LITERALLY GONNA RUN EVERYTHING BEHIND THE SCENES OF EVERY PRODUCT.
Sorry for the caps but I think it deserves some attention.
Kayden Edwards
Are you twelve? Do you know what a NDA is?
Jesus Christ dude... just sell you stack of 100 Link already.
Lincoln Russell
>muh NDA That HSBC project was on my local news station yesterday. What is the purpose of an NDA at that late stage of a project? Is it going to be a permanent NDA? Are you going to be here in 5 years saying "l-link runs the global financial network in the background b-but they're just not allowed to say it for reasons"
Bentley Bell
ITS ANOTHER EPISODE LF CNTRL F NO RESULTS LINK, CHAINLINK, SERGEY. LMAO JUST STOP YOUR DELUSION
Jackson Clark
This means the LINK team will never make announcements then?
Eventually we'll figure it out once we see what is going on after Mainnet release.
James Price
They often said that they'd start marketing once mainnet is released
Cameron Lewis
> Hrmmm, I need to come up with a name for a new line of car I am putting out > I know, I'll call it THE ROAD
Isaac Garcia
Look up the Howey test. If smartcontract.com so much as implies that Link tokens are securities (aka "investment contracts") then the company and token are subject to regulation (read: assfisting) by the SEC. Announcing partnerships and shilling the Link token prior to its use in a live mainnet makes a heavy implication that the Link token is expected to provide a profit.
Aaron Harris
this
Jaxon Ward
>within the same network, given the appropriate permission a chaincode may invoke another chaincode to access its state.
Seems like a wrapper incorporating chainlink to me.
You are more than welcome to sell or never buy chainlink tho. I am not here to convince people to buy.
Hudson Roberts
How dumb are you fucking guys that you think acknowledging a working product is a securities issue
Kevin Lee
This is actually huge, chaincode by itself would be a very valuable project
