Also the returns are hilarious. You end up locking away RLX for years and then get a measly few % profit each year. No one is going to use this over traditional investments so RLX isn't going to be in demand. This is a fad.

You really don't understand investing. This is the opposite of what you're saying. Crypto is a fad and when it calms down you'll want somewhere to invest your earnings from crypto... That's where RLX comes in. You never have to switch your money to fiat and you can make guaranteed investments of 4x and keep ownership of properties.
The token is not backed by anything. You never own the property, you are just a proxy. RLX will still be subject to the volatile crypto market. Why would anyone want to invest in that?
Crypto may be a fad but only idiots are ignoring the profit potentials from it. You just have to take care not to hodl yourself to death and you'll make huge gains. Same goes for this thing, probably an easy 10x even if you think the project won't survive 5 years.

You haven't given this project more than a quick glance if that's you takeaway. In a nutshell, RLX will use smart contracts to automate the paperwork process and remove the hoops you have to jump through when investing in international development projects. They are solving a real pain point in this industry and making the space more easily accessible for investors. This is legit one of the biggest projects in crypto right now but both biz and the plebbits are too stupid to realize it.
It's not a fucking crypto startup, it's an international investment development company and it won't need your neet bucks to take off. Company is registered in New Jersey and is playing straight with current SEC and FINRA rules.
