Todos los profesores son de latinoamerica, estaban bien. Tengo 31 anos ye cuando empeze la escuela primaria habian clases de bilingues pero nunca fue, pienso que ya no hacen eso. En high school (not sure how to communicate that) habian clases de nivel universitario.

Did Spaniards invent this sound just to stick it to the “gringos”?
The only way I can sort of make the sound is by cheating and just saying two singular r sounds quickly, which doesn’t sound very good or correct.

And regarding the French r in Spanish I think it'd sound interesting, even if it isn't correct. Rolling r's is one thing I can luckily do and I think my pronunciation is okay, I'm just a bit shaky when speaking. I guess that's just to be solved with practice though.

Lo de que la jota viene del árabe es un meme, en el castellano antiguo ese sonido no existía y no se introduce hasta el siglo XVI. Al mismo tiempo que se introducen los sonidos modernos de la s, la z y la x.

se pueden ver los cambios en "cavallo - caballo" y "escova - escoba"
