What happens here?

I think they're the most developed former communist states. Are they like Western Europe yet?

Slovenia: absolutely, they have always been western Europe and their country looks better or on par with most of western countries, I feel sorry for them that they joined Yugoslavia and got stuck behind the Iron Curtain so now people think of them as "eastern Europe" even though Slovenia looks completely like Austria (you can check on google street view)

Czechia: not really, it still looks eastern European, tall commieblocks made of panels in all cities, run down infrastructure in many places etc but their old towns are top tier (still quite a lot of dilapidated buildings). They could easily become western Europe if they tore down everything that was built between 1945-90.

Estonia: not at all, it looks very bad and mostly like Russia, maybe slightly cleaner but architecture and quality of everything is more similar to Russia than to anything in the west, also extremely poor infrastructure. Looks even worse than Poland.

What about Sweden

Sweden is a generic first world country, maybe looks slightly worse due to lack of trees in the streets, also I don't like neoclassical (i.e. without many ornaments) architecture that is dominant in Sweden (at least in Stockholm).

My ideal country in terms of architecture is Germany and in terms of urban planning - the Netherlands.

German architecture is good. I really like Japanese buildings too.

bump

Ljubljana doesn't look western european at all. It's a pretty rusty and dirty city.

Sheikh IMRAN ibn Mustafikr states that eating non-halal meat is akin to mushrik (polytheism)

What does that have to do with this thread?

It is important advice to any Muslims viewing this thread
