Is it true that because of climate reasons there's very little cow meat used in Med cuisine and instead your high quality meats are pork?
Me, who participates in the slaughtering of the pigs?
pork is cheaper.
Could be, in Northern Spain we have many cow farms
>sheep
what the fuck lmao what are you even doing
Price is determined by supply & demand you know. A cow is more expensive because it costs resources (large grass fields) the med doesn't have.
evidence you are more moor, give aragon independence
OBVIOUSLY bovine, if those are your only options
raising all of the above plus fowl is even better
>cattlebros
climate is good for cows where I live but there're no intensive farms unlike with pigs
France and Netherlands is mainly milk I suppose. Neither are known for their meat exports.
so the uk doesn't have large grassy fields? You're an absolute retard
Now that you made me think about it, I would say so, yes
Wool and lamb meat (the 2nd best meat). Lamb is a traditional and popular meat here
yes I know. we're not known for having high quality grass.
do you make cheese in the netherlands?
What a stupid reply you imbecile, for your information Ireland which is next to the UK is the largest beef exporter of Europe and produces most steaks eaten in Italy.
Meanwhile Italian cuisine regards pork tenderloin as the best possible meat and in the MENA region they have lamb.
What does lamb and pork have in common? They require little resources while having a lot of fat and taste.
Come back when your country is swine only
/ovis/ master race
When I was in Cork I was wondering why everything was so green compared to the UK when it's the same climate, I think it's because seemingly every field is just grass for cattle, not many crops. Made it very pretty
Sheep have a very special place in British culture, going back to our ancient Brythonic Celt ancestors. In Wales especially, sheep are traditionally revered and loved as bringers of great pleasure and joy.
yea you're right. speaking for Portugal exclusively, we don't have a lot of good grass on the mainland. go to the Azores where the grass is green (and the girls aren't all that pretty) and you see cows everywhere (no pun intended). hence why most of our milk is produced there.
WE
THE SWIIIINE BROTHERS
Excuse me, island in inbreeding clearly creates the most attractive women
There's more factors into play though. For the perfect cow meat you need
1) a lot of gigantic grasslands
2) very good temperate constant climate
As a result the best meats come from Brazil and Uruguay which can have their cows outside all year long and have enough land for a lot of them.
The Netherlands for example cannot produce top quality meat. How Ireland does it is unknown to me, but Ireland for example doesn't make all the super expensive wagyu steaks etc.
>most Cattle regions in France
It's only natural. We are Nature's bulls after all.
fucking gay lol
There are lots of different breeds of cow, and believe it or not the one that's most common in Argentina is actually an English breed. Also Ireland does have an awful lot of pasture it's a very rural country. The cattle you have in Scotland have longer coats to help with the temperature also, so maybe breeding comes into play
Most of our meat dishes revolve around beef, at least moreso than pork.
Based greek islands
why do g*rms hate ovines so much?
Our too but I am talking about actual ‘premium cuts’ like a steak or tenderloin. Neither French nor Dutch ones have a good name or are sold abroad
yea our Picanha comes mostly from Uruguay.
>Stockholm
>Sheep
Lamb is ok but mutton is chewy garbage.
>Porktugal
I hate lamb and I am Welsh, it's an awful meat
Beef>pork>chicken
me
*sucks teeth* you aight germ bois
We don't eat a lot of cow meat, but we don't consider pork as high quality.
