Depends, just lots of rules, but since we share a lot of vocabulary, you'll be mostly fine learning it. The main problem would be pronounciation though if you want to speak it.

Well, in three years you can learn any language you want. So very probable, considering that french language is not alien to English and Spanish. But level will be, well marginal, I guess
