The 1% are everything we should aspire to be. They should be our inspiration to raise ourselves to greater heights through our trials and hardships.

I study in uni, pay taxes and have worked all my life so I consider myself not to be utterly useless but what you don't understand is that being rich doesn't equal being essential and being poor doesn't equal being useless (as the Dane mentioned, many scientists that GREATLY put society forward were dirt poor)

I don't understand what you think we should do about this, as long as there is a free market (and we all want a free market) then there will be a small percentage of people who are a lot more successful with money than the rest. You can't change this.

Those who are successful have right to be richer than the rest, obviously, but the gap is too high and along with the amount of money that 1% has comes corruption and nepotism which further raises the gap and the cycle is ready.
