China is also replanting in the far north to counteract earlier deforestation, albeit for different reasons. Replanting trees might sound dull but it's one of those things which is done properly can have amazing results down the line.

Most Icelandic people live in the capital, and many capitals around the Europe have 50% immigrants. Iceland could easily take at least 200 000 immigrants, and would still not have any larger number of immigrants than other major European cities.
