France has long succeeded Turkey as the "old man of Europe", it is in such a pitiful state that foreigners refuse to associate its past legacy with its current form, unlike delusional "French"(do these even exist anymore?) people who still live in the past. Working with France is always done out of necessity because it is the main European military power, but no one views French influence positively, even its closest "allies".
