I have to work full time to survive, I don't have TIME to focus full time on learning a language and I'm not going to be that dickhead that moves to a country without knowing their language (if they even let me), I could do it extremely part time which would take years and then it'd take THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars to move me (and by then my wife, since we'd likely be married by the time it all gets processed) across the Atlantic. It's just not feasible.

The culture isn't simply isolated to individual groups, it's shared by everybody that lives in those countries. Everywhere I went I felt it. England, while somewhat similar to America and not hard to navigate due to no language barrier, just FELT entirely different. It's hard to put into words, but if you go to these places you'll know. There are all these little intricacies about their culture, as shallow as standing on the right on the tube escalator to as deep rooted as ancient May Day celebrations.
