Asians are obsessed with Asians and a lot of the Anglosphere is obsessedwith the idea that Asians don't have their own overarching social bubbles and care about the west as much as Anglos want the restof the world to care about the west.
Most people legitimately don't care about foreign cultures unless they directly impact their own. Koreans, Chinese, Japanese and South East Asians could go on completely contentwith their lives ifthe western world stopped existing. For whatever reason, is realisation deeply triggers existential angst in some people, who turn around and channel that angst into racism and spinning delusional narratives regarding the alleged supremacy of their own corner of the planet and how Asia, India, Africa, etc. all constantly think about them when in reality most of these people are too busy with their own lives to stop and give a fuck about insecure westerners who want to think of themselves as a privileged position in a great empire.

It's kind of sad. The internet has opened up the world yet these people use it to further hide away in their delusions and trying desperately to justify their existential state of unease.
