I know what Moore's law is. The truth is is that the cpu is the fastest part of the computer and it becomes bottlenecked by any slower component it depends on ie. Ram and disk access. Of course some of this is the responsibility of the programmer, like minimizing cache misses, but it goes to show that there are still things to improve about computers that can make them more efficient which isn't just cpu speed (which is what shrinking dies affects)
