No user, a merchant stakes for you, it's super simple to do and the rates are competitive 5% or lower depending on your bag. Your coins stay in your wallet, never leave it so you can close the wallet and go offline and the merchant does the rest.

No one is staking offline. What TPos is, is essentially virtualized staking. The merchant puts your coins on a VPS to stake. What's a dex and how will this make me money
Dex is short for decentralized exchange. On a dex all tx's are stored on the blockchain. A Dex usually has some sort of profit sharing program, look at Cryptobridge for example. Trading fees are paid out to holders.
What's running the DEX? Users using the wallet? Pretty confused here
The crypto network runs the Dex. Masternodes and stakers contribute computing power to run it.
