are you stupid?
individuals != country
Most known music because English is the most widely used language*
Also what is Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Tsjajkovski etc.
t. has never heard non-American music
ive been waiting for a guy to cum and take me by the hand
could these sensations make me feel the pleasures of another man?
>*invents practically everything and creates modern civilisation*
>shit
As a kid, I grew up thinking that the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, were all American bands. Not even memeing.
I would tell you what I grew up with, but then you'd think I'm memeing.
lol same
>Oh, I'll break them down, no mercy shown Heaven knows, it's got to be this time
>Watching her, these things she said The times she cried Too frail to wake this time
Beautiful. how can the US even compete?
I always thought Def Leppard were Yanks, I was really surprised when I found out they were formed in Sheffield
i am actually triggered
i am sick of this shitty excuse.
yes, i'll admit our music is more accessible because we speak English, but that's not the sole reason.
it's our subcultures that go along with it.
Britain has either massively influenced or outright created literally every. single. genre.
punk
post punk
pysch rock
dream pop
shoegaze
grime
uk drill
glitch hop
garage
drum and bass
jungle
house
that's just a mere slither of the contributions britain has made to music.
no one cares about shitty belgian or dutch music because it's literally just a carbon copy of British+American music, but in a foreign language. nobody gives a fuck, singing in a foreign language isn't special. you have no youth culture. you have no subcultures. you're BORING.
That only shows how ignorant you are about foreign music.
Wrong and literally no one knows 90% of those genreas what the fuck is glitch hop and jungle lmao it's just because English is the most widely spoken language
>literally no one knows 90% of those genreas
Also this lol. In the UK you have like three genres and then you proceed to give it ten names.
name literally 1 (ONE) genre your country has created or majorly influenced.
GABBER
>hurrrrr but whataboutu
I'm not saying either belgium or netherlands influenced shit lol but my original point about the english language still stands
>grime
ah yes, the genre created by african refugees in the UK. truly, such a glaring example of the white man's creativity. also, literally half of the genres you posted didn't even originate from white brits you dunce.
>as shit as this
Do americans genuinely believe they live in a better country ?
How cute.
I actually didn't realize Def Leppard were bongs until this moment.
Fuck off back to your general nigger.
Fair play on rest of these but """UK Drill""" is just trap
And metal.
i said i agreed with it being more accessible because of the language, but that doesn't explain the disproportionate amount of innovation that comes from Britain.
The US and UK are the two best countries for music, followed by a big power gap, followed by the other Anglo countries, followed by another big power gap, then everyone else.
The literal majority of the top DJ's are from the Benelux. And that has been the case for 3 decades now. Much of the modern dance and electronic music started here. The easiest answer would be gabber as said.
But Eurodance, as you call it, is also largely influenced by us.
That rap and techno is mixing is also largely because of Dutch DJ's working with rappers to improve their music.
The top classical music artist in the world is also Dutch. We still make real music, unlike the British.
And we have lots of local music genres that you don't have, such as carnival music (with marching bands).
All of your list has been inspired by / taken from the US e.g.:
Punk? The Ramones, The Stooges, New York Dolls etc - McLaren copied and mixed the lot when launching the Pistols
House? Derived from techno i.e. Detroit
Shogaze? Inspired from US psychedelic rock
The Beatles? The Stones? The Kinks? Led Zep? Ransacked US blues
and so on... I love loads of UK bands but when it comes to modern music we should all suck America's dick
English music is all dinosaur bands and bleep bloop crap
There has never been a good band to come out of england or the British Isles in general. Fact
the best lolicore artist is british
youtube.com
I've brought up Stereolab to a few frogs on here and none of them have been familiar, but I love them. Air is pretty good too. Why does France not give us more modern music?
What about Cliff Richard?
>bleep bloop crap
kys philistine. electronic music is great.
I miss the 90's.
Oh wow, and what do you listen to m80 ?
Radiohead, the Smiths, Joy Division/New Order, Echo and the Bunnymen, just off the top of my head. I could easily go on.
british bleep bloop music is peak tho

The fuck is that
this
Don't know Stereolab either, but Air is pretty famous. We're not bad in electro music imo - the so-called French touch with Daft Punk or faggot DJs like Getta or Solveig but also great stuff like Motorbass or Cassius.
I also love that dude Saycet who does kinda ambient electro but I'd say he's pretty confidential...
I'd suggest you check compilations from radio Nova called Nova Tunes, lots of good stuff and lots of new french stuff
redpilled but not based
music that goes bleep bloop when man pushes button
New wave/synth-pop
Stereolab is def electronic. Look up Cybele's Reverie if you're curious.
also dubstep
>Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London in the late 1990s. It is generally characterized by sparse, syncopated rhythmic patterns with bass lines that contain prominent sub-bass frequencies. The style emerged as an offshoot of UK garage, drawing on a lineage of related styles such as 2-step, dub reggae, jungle, broken beat, and grime.[1][2]
tfw britain invented IDM
Also fuck I completely forgot Daft Punk was French. Derp. Good shit.
>britain invented IDM
