snes
Amiga CD32
Mega Drive = Jow Forums
SNES = Reddit
what's your favorite game on it?
This bad boy
killer instinct, got pretty good with spinal, had the distinct black cartridge
Sega
>road rash
I had the Mega Drive then upgraded to the SNES
snes
I've never owned a console. Mom didn't allow it.
Neither
PC Master Race since 1986
nice
MD
Sonic gave me autism
Mega Drive but I didn't used too much because I had a CD with 400 games. To be honest I don't know if it was an emulator with 400 games integrated, but I played on PC instead of using my megadrive.
this but since 1996
Genesis does what nintendon't
1. flag
2. Mega Drive 2
It unintentionally planted me in the PC master race environment though.
>a CD with 400 games
That's like the Holy Grail, I had a demo CD with 6 limited games that I played over and over.
1. Sweden
2. SNES
Nintendo dominated in Sweden and Nintendo Sweden was the first European Nintendo division.
UK
SNES
My parents didn't buy us many games for it though, I just remember playing Super Mario World and Street Fighter a lot. I didn't play most of the classics until I discovered emulation.
>Pegasus was a video game system sold in Poland, Serbia, and Bosnia. It was a hardware clone of the Nintendo Famicom (Japanese model of NES)
so it's Poland's version of Dendy?
I never had that one
here's the games I still own
true, for consoles you really need friends
the best moments for me with a console was with friends, snes and n64 had no online capabilities and xbox only much later
even though morrowind came on the xbox you could get into it was much as you would on a pc
>could
couldn't
>so it's Poland's version of Dendy?
if by "version" you mean "1:1 stolen copy", than yes
it was produced in times when a gameboy costed 2-3 month salaries in a post-commie country, so cheap clones of those consoles and pirated cloned games were the kings of the video game market here
neither. N64 was my first console. I even got some sort of laptop bag with it.
I had Sega first (all Sonics, Jurassic Park and Echo the Dolphine (really dope videogame) )
Then I got supernintendo, but I mostly remember playing MegaMan games.
based and redpilled
I had a N64 as well
Blast Corps was my favorite game
Dendy
Mega Drive
PS1
syndicate - great one
But the N64 and SNES did have online capabilities
the intro is fucking hype

too late
Absolutely agree, realy good game.
Both. I didn’t grow up in poverty.
My fav sega games:
Shadowrun youtube.com
Rings of power youtube.com
Shining Force youtube.com
Shining Force is great. I don't recognize the other two, although I know Shadowrun is originally a tabletop RPG
I always liked two player games most. I like Gain Ground, Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Toejam and Earl: Panic on Funkotron. Adventures of Batman and Robin is probably my favorite
youtube.com
Great games! It was really long time ago and i get some good flashbacks in this thread
based
I got a Playstation in 1998.
lol my first console was a psp you fucking boomers
None because I was super poor
Game Boy Advance.
what did you guys do for fun?
The usual: Playing football, tag or scamming tourists.
SNES, but i didn't own it cause i was so young.
This was the best game, well the only one i can remember.
>The usual
that doesn't fit the bill in Finland
we used to beat each other with boffers and engaged in airsoft warfare when we were not playing video games
As long you had fun it's alright
I guess that's true
At the risk of sounding like an old fart, I'm worried that the next generation might not play outside at all. Kids are put in front of an ipad at age 2
I'm not worried even that I'm a father of two.
Different times, different ways to have fun I guess.
There are definite differences between the things that kids enjoy.
i.e. playing with legos is better than watching tv
SEGA
>Theme Park
>Syndicate
>Toejam & Earl
Pretty noice, pls say that you actually like T&J 2.
both because i was a spoiled shit
I didn't play T&J 2 much but the first one is great.
>T&J 2.
?
do you mean the second Toejam and Earl? that game was better than the first
I still have both around here somewhere.
You're the cunt who I claim having both besplit having neither.
Yes, probably the most positive game for me personally, the amount of charm in it always puts me into good mood.
Neither
Didn't get a console until I was old enough to go out and mow lawns for money. Saved up and bought an NES right before the N64 came out. Ended up being that one weird kid that was always talking about Eye of the Beholder in 3rd grade while everyone else was playing pokemon
T&J 1 was way more unique and replayable.
youtube.com
best song
WHO HERE /RISTAR/?
>tfw you still can't figure out Eye of the Beholder but don't want to look up a guide because that's cheating
q.q
I hope you got a good deal on that friend
>T&J
It's TJ&E, and no it's not better than the second game
Back then videogames were seen as a luxury and SEGA was practially non-existent so all my childhood I was a Nintendo kid while most of other kids I knew just played arcades.
PBJ&E 1 is still unique to this day. The 2nd one is just another platformer.
I still have it in storage, but nah the guy ripped me off looking back. I paid $40 for an NES 1 controller and 2 games. Eye of the beholder and the super mario duck hunt combo cart
I didn't own consoles until I was in late middle school. I only played PC games. I started playing console games around when PS1, N64 and Dreamcast were out.
3DO
nah i really did, i had both consoles up until about the gamecube where i lost interest
i also thought the NES was some kind of super SNES and turned up at this one kid's house who i barely knew from school just so i could see it
There is nothing really unique about it
Might as well call Nethack unique
