My last name came from the German-speaking part of France.
Do you say it’s a French name or German name?

If I don't know the name, I'll have a hard time telling you
it's an american name now you prononuce like an american
It’s German language
But it begins with “le” so reddit-tier
Have a picture of a McMansion some rich guy thought would make him look French
Well, is it a German name or a French name?
If your name is Maier, Müller, Schulze, than it really does not matter if your family is from "German-speaking part of France", the name is German. If it is Dubois or something, it is French.
My last name came from the Spanish speaking part of US so its Spain.
So like "Le Meyer"?
Are you parents trolling you or something?
Is this Mcmansion for real or just a shop in DisneyWorld?
At this point I'd prefer commieblocks without a doubt
I would say it’s a Kraut name but it’s so uncommon you could only find it in Alsace
I’ve thought about anglicizing it most of my life.
I feel bad for the guy who built it. He probably thought it was awesome.
He tried to sell it for about $15 million and it’s currently valued at less than 4.
Alsace used to be German all the time until frogs forcefully assimilated it and flooded it with niggers since after Ww2
And why tf would you change your family name, I thougt Americans were all about muh heritage
>assimilating into the eternal Anglo
Gross
You already all are, none of you can legitimately claim some "muh ancestry" bullshit
Stop deluding yourselves
Just post your name you paranoid autistic fuck
This isn't even that bad, I kinda like it but it looks gaudy and fake as fuck
>I kinda like it but it looks gaudy and fake as fuck
Every American product ever. That's why they win.
It's a mutt name
I have a question of my own. My last name is Sonnabend. I can assume based off of language usage that it comes out of the north, but I can't say. Any ideas?
Some of us have very uncommon names and it would be an instadox
True, but doesn't mean we can't keep some remnants of past cultures
Like how a lot of English people still have Norman and Norse surnames, their cultures dead in England but doesn't mean we should ignore its influence or get rid of its legacy
How the fuck would anyone here know?
Research it if you want to know
More red = more common
Danke fran
It depends whether it's a German or French name. Most of Alsatian names are just German names, eg. Müller and Meyer, the two most common Alsatian names.
>flooded it with niggers since after Ww2
Alsace is clearly less "flooded with niggers" than Western Germany.
Why does anyone need that big a house?
just Americans on pol who actually get offended by the mutt meme
just tell us what the fucking name is, no one cares about doxing you
Like Griezmann?
everywhere in France is flooded with niggers, banning census surveys doesn't make it not true
But thats OK, where I live has been majority Nigger since the 1700's.
Keep to what you know ok arabs are everywhere but black clearly not as much
It's gonna be soon enough anyway
OP here, I agree with this.
I don't have a lot of in common with germans and I've never been there. Probably no one in muh heritage has spoken german for 150 years. I'm not gonna LARP. I'm proud to be where I'm from, which is my region of USA.
