DAI is a stablecoin, you moron. that's literally the entire point of it. you can trade it as a normal erc20 without ever interacting with the complicated collateral system, and redeem it for dollars just fine (technically dai -> eth -> usd, oh god, the horror of having an automated program do two transactions under the hood)

These fuckwits just stalk semi-famous people with a penchant for saying outrageous things and ask them leading questions so they get a hot quote which they then get to slap their byline on and quote-unquote "journals" (actually, fundamentally, advertising platforms like "Forbes") then publish, while raking in click and ad revenue while scooping up all your metadata in the background. They don't give two shits about accuracy.
Here we have a patently ridiculous claim, "reported" by this tool (pic attached) and posted here, with the sole intention of driving commercially important "millennial" demographics to their clearinghouse of speculation and pure bullshit.
