Why don't you use the Oxford comma?

Why don't you use the Oxford comma?

Why no one in Jow Forums uses commas?

Because I'm not a candy floss munching faggot. We use American style here

because retards don't deserve help understanding context in a sentence

I was taught the other way.
Should it be used?

Because I like toast and orange juice

I could care less.

Because learning english was already too much of hassle, so i am not going to bother with learning proper ponctuation.

Because that was what I was taught while in Catholic school

Because I think many of us don't know how to use commas in Englsih. So people don't use them. Including native speakers.
Because I am not a retard. Also commas work differently in Hugnarian.

I invited the buffalos, president Obama and president Trump

Nobody was taught any punctuation for foreign languages in schools and Americans are too dumb.

>"President Obama and President Trump"
Wow what a strange name lol xD

We don't americans to feel threatened

I use it. It matches the cadence

I fell like I am the only person on Jow Forums, that uses commas.

CAPITALIZE 'PRESIDENT' BEFORE NAMES YOU PUSSY!

I feel, like I'm the only person, on Jow Forums, that uses commas.

I like it and I use it because it makes a lot of sense. It really bothers me that it's not correct in Italian.

Donald Fuck Trump is a fat, fascist, orange

People who use commas, where they are not necessary, come across as psuedo-intellectual, assholes, who are upstuck, and erroneously pedantic.

I agree, with you, completely.

I had eggs and toast and orange juice

But I do?

yeah, same in spanish.

reddit is that way fag -->

You used it wrong though

I feel, like, I'm the only person on Jow Forums that uses commas?

Same here. And I envy English the lack of double negation, because double negation is a retarded feature.

>I like
Do you faggots really not have strict and well defined punctuation rules in your languages?
Say, for op's pic only the second options is valid in Russian and it's not fucking open to opinions or debates.

Italian does and the Oxford comma is not correct, for now.

We aren't taught about punctuation in Finland

Just because commas are used often in your gutter speak doesn't mean other languages have to follow suit

Am I really the only one who uses proper punctuation on this whole damn site?

upboat :D:D :D:D::D:D::D:D:D:

I change punctuation and capitalization style often to confound CIA niggers

Do you want a fucking medal, faggot?

Good idea

Well in Hungarian if you count things like the OP pic you are forbidden to put a comma before the and. So same as in Russian. I don't understand this whole Oxford comma thing. Like who would soak his toast in orange juicy?
Also this. What is difference between "I invited the buffalos, president Obama and president Trump" and "I invited the buffalos, president Obama, and president Trump"?

Commas only become a problem for me in short sentences.
I've had people nitpick me for using
I'm a fag, too.
and
I'm a fag too.
Either way, gays should be eradicated.
Either way gays should be eradicated.
The grand exchange ruined Runescape, anyway.

Internert sources haven't been much help, either.
Regardless, only an idiot wouldn't use the Oxford Comma.

Wouldn't the "without" example better be an actual juice made of toasts and oranges? The picture is more "orange juice toasts" than toast and orange juice.

Fun fact
British English doesn't use the Oxford comma

That doesn't mean anything

>Commas only become a problem for me in short sentences.
Using them in short sentences looks retarded, as if you can't construct proper sentences. Overusing commas makes it easier for you to write sloppily but for the reader its tedious. It quite simply looks shabby and unprofessional and one should avoid using commas as much as possible.

>Internert sources haven't been much help, either.
Absolutely wrong to insert a comma into a sentence which is perfectly fine without it.
>Regardless, only an idiot wouldn't use the Oxford Comma.
Colloquial.

I do and people think it's weird but I either picked it up from a teacher that used it or most of the early books I read had it.

The first one indicates that the buffalos' names are President Obama and President Trumo

I don't give a fuck what you think you fat ugly greasy neckbeard.
So, it's less common but still correct. It really doesn't matter which of the two you use, it's more about how one learned written English.

It's redundant. Nobody misses the meaning and syntax without it.

commas are really easy. Theyre just pauses in speech. Here, I just used it as an example.

Good post

The second sentence doesn't work like that.
For that pic at the bottom to happen, you'd have to say something like

I had eggs and toast and orange.
