Nice OC, user. We have far too little original content in /éire/ these days.
>cute girl I met in college I've been chatting with
>found out she has a tattoo
>immediately lose all interest in her
That's not OC. I made it and this one last year.
>That's not OC
>I made it and this one last year.
I think that still counts as OC. But I must have missed it the last time you posted it.
What's the tattoo of?
>I think that still counts as OC
I meant to say that OP didn't make it himself.
>I must have missed it the last time you posted it
I believe it was popular at the time but not since, guess it died with the Alberto Barbosa meme. I was surprised to see it being used again today.
In the spirit of the OP here's one of Lux's.
Didn't get a proper look at it. Looked like a rose on her arm.
>I meant to say that OP didn't make it himself.
Oh right.
>In the spirit of the OP here's one of Lux's.
I vaguely remember that one. There was a period where he was pumping out new OC almost every thread.
I admire your principles, user.
>There was a period where he was pumping out new OC almost every thread
Certainly during the last remaining GAALs period. RIP Lux's Photoshop subscription and RIP regular Lux posting.

Why don't we just get all the anime fags and deport them to Latvia?
>mid-to-late 2019
That's not soon at all.
But I don't want to go to Latvia.
Why not? Latvia's lovely and you can shit up their threads instead
Anime posting doesn't shit up /éire/ though. It's the people incessantly complaining about the presence of anime on Jow Forums of all places that are a detriment to /éire/.
Germania posting is better than anime posting
>connection errors all the time
>have to reload just to see new posts
Fucking Hiroshima, when will he stop killing the site?
Anime-posting protects /éire/ from west brits. Germania-posting protects us from nothing.
Have been bleeding all day
Now I know what it feels like to be a woman and a soldier
>Anime-posting protects /éire/ from west brits
I like soccer than any of the GAA sports, I refer to it as football in everyday speak and many of my favourite music artists are British. I also like and post anime :^)
There are plenty of anime related boards on this site, fuck off to them and leave us in peace
Fucking fat weeb pussy virgin.
Anime website, turbo-newfag
>leave us in peace
We are /éire/.
>tfw ywn be an old man and kick a knacker up the arse
Sadly we live in an anti meme /éire/
>>ywn be an old man
Why ? Are you contemplating suicide ?
But most anime fags are Aspies with Yank accents that REEEEEEEEEE when you try to banter or don't type like a Yank
Studied in Ireland for a month this past summer and it was a great experience.
Tfw no Irish gf
How common is Spanish speaking in Ireland? Is it a popular second language?¿ Viva la Quinta brigada?
Grand you can have this shithole, ill be over in Jow Forums
Jow Forums is even worse. Full of real boomers.
I hope you unironically like the NP and other such nonsense.
From what I know, it would be outside the top 5 second languages in Ireland. Those places would be occupied by (in no particular order) French, German, Irish, Polish, and possibly one or more of the other Eastern European languages.
Well yeah, better than fine Gael, shinners and all that other shite
But they're not even a real political party, so saying that they're better than other political parties is moot.
But they said that about every party in the beginning, so that statement itself is moot
Who and when? Even Renua is a recognised official party.
Barrett is waiting till the next election to register. We have been gaining support on social media, the only way is up.
>But they said that about every party in the beginning
Up until the point where they officially registered as a political party, which the NP have not. Hence they are not a political party. That's a statement of fact.
>the only way is up.
You'd think that.
>My nigga Kevin Sharkey is out of the presidential race
I'll let this place decide how I spoil my vote.
Mate you've probably been scammed out of your membership fees, 3 years later and I don't think they even have plans to run anyone in next year's elections.
Never, until he can't make any more money off this place.
>I'll let this place decide how I spoil my vote.
Vote for Seán Gallagher. Making a real competition out of this election would be the best way to spoil your vote.
You could be part of something beautiful, you could talk to people about it and help this movement of patriots grow, be productive but you just try to shit on us and destroy our morale. Bad form buddy.
Kevin told people to vote Gemma Doherty instead so I'll vote her
But he's a gobshite. Though it might as well be a spoiled vote.
>Though it might as well be a spoiled vote.
That's my point. And nobody likes an election where the result is predetermined.
>nobody likes an election where the result is predetermined
I do, provided the person I want to win is ahead.
t. Alastar Ghrándí
Barrett doesn't strike me as the charismatic, imposing leader required to lead such a movement.
>implying she'll get a nomination in the councils
The only hope is if /ourguy/ Michael Fitzmaurice gets 20 Independents to vote for her via the Oireachtas route.
Isn't she an anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist?
He said something about her being against government corruption or something so idk she sounds alright to me
He's a political veteran, he knows what he's doing and a great orator.
I really think you should research your voting preferences a bit more thoroughly.
>He's a political veteran
No he's not.
>and a great orator.
Okay, now you're just memeing. Plus, he can barely see over most podiums that he "orates" from.
I just want more Michael D. desu.
t. Irish media "journalist"
Yeah, he's great. Not perfect (his Castro comments still bother me and he has a habit of pushing the boundaries of presidential political impartiality), but miles better than any of the other candidates
>and a great orator
He's really not. He doesn't know when to raise and lower his voice. It comes off as shouting randomly about refugees instead of making a coherent argument. Shouting about things only really works at rallies and gatherings, not sitting alone in a rented office addressing a camcorder.
>not sitting alone in a rented office addressing a camcorder.
Where does Barrett even get the money to rent that office?
Fuck him. He puts on a fake accent (don't know why people don't call him out more for this), supports socialist dictators, spoke out against austerity policies which were needed to fix the country, refused to admit he would run again and is given an easy ride by Irish society even though he's never had to do anything hard to merit it. He's literally Jow Forumsireland: the candidate. I wanted Kevin Sharkey since he spoke out against the immigrant issue but since he's half-black, nobody would've been able to point out the fact I'm a racist for supporting him. Shame he's pulling out
>He puts on a fake accent (don't know why people don't call him out more for this)
I've seen you mention this before, but do you actually have any proof that his accent is fake?
>spoke out against austerity policies which were needed to fix the country
To be fair, he's from the Labour party. Speaking out against things like austerity but then supporting it anyway is standard procedure for them. Archetypal champagne socialists.
youtube.com
It's funny how people who only hear bits and pieces about her from the media come to the conclusion that she's some sort of Jim Corr level paranoid lunatic.
She's just an investigative journalist who realised through her work the sort of corruption that's taking place in the media, Gardai and established politics in Ireland.
>She's just an investigative journalist who realised through her work the sort of corruption that's taking place in the media, Gardai and established politics in Ireland.
That doesn't explain why she's an anti-vaxxer? Plus she failed to provide any proof for her claim that the state had Veronica Guerin murdered and than acted really awkwardly when she was questioned about it by the media. Sure, it's not Jim Corr level, but it's still pretty weird and definitely not presidential.
>but do you actually have any proof that his accent is fake?
youtube.com
>he hasn't seen the video
I suppose I find it weird that she's made very credible accusations regarding Brian Lenihan Senior being involved in the murder of a priest and the Sophie Du Plantier case being a state cover up going so far as to lose a gate covered in blood as evidence and yet we're here discussing whether she's an anti-vaxxer or not.
>soccer
Could I at least have a time stamp?
>and yet we're here discussing whether she's an anti-vaxxer or not.
It's a relevant question. She may have done plenty of good work in the past, but being an anti-vaxxer is retarded and the vast majority of Irish people wouldn't want one as their president.
He's the first guest speaker. Watch from about 30 seconds in
Her explanation seems fine, she isn't an anti-vaxxer she's just a person who is suspicious in nature and questions everything. A useful trait in her profession.
>“My father was a pharmacist and my mother was a nurse,” she said. “My father was a traditional chemist in that he had huge respect for drugs and knew how dangerous they could be. As a result of that, I have questioned the use of drugs, I have questioned the overuse of antibiotics and I have also listened to concerns of parents who say that they believe their children may have been injured by the HPV vaccine,” she said.
>“Just because the HSE tells us that something is safe, should we just trust them blindly? I believe that the women who are now dying as a result of the cervical smear scandal would have an opinion about that.
While I accept that his accent in that video isn't quite as strong as it is now, it's still there. I remain unconvinced.
>and I have also listened to concerns of parents who say that they believe their children may have been injured by the HPV vaccine
From what I've read, she did a bit more than just "listen". Regardless, I can't say really it matters much either way because she's unlikely to get a nomination.
right any of you lads in trinity
What did you read?
You don't want to let /jp/ in
Was that a question?
I was there right after y’all’s tree fell down
I don't understand what you mean.
you decide you larping faggot
Is a dropout any good for you?
youtube.com
You don't think it's different from this? It's clear he's a social climber ashamed of his roots. I hold him in the same regard as a college student girl from, say, Carlow who adopts a Dublin twang to her accent after attending Trinity or UCD
I don't think I could ever see /éire/ becoming a spin-off
Apparently some of her writings and comments on the concerns of parents regarding the HPV vaccines seemed to advocate against the vaccination. That said, I didn't read those articles in question myself, so it is admittedly second hand information.
I can't say that I ever had any intention of voting for her anyway.
I guess not.
>You don't think it's different from this?
There's definitely a difference, but I don't think it's different enough to claim that he's putting on an accent for social mobility reasons. Michael D is anything but ashamed of his roots; he has talked extensively about his upbringing and background. It's also worth noting that people tend to speak differently in informal and formal contexts.
oh man im sorry im just a bit on edge, yeah it was a question
With luck I'll be heading to UCD next summer
Well hopefully they get along with the god damn construction by then
Are you still in secondary school?
