How come Korea is becoming so much more culturally dominant in the world than Japan?

Koreans make their entertainment widely available to foreigner and put a lot of money in advertising it to non-Koreans. KBS has a youtube channel with shitton of content uploaded automatically with English subs, so it's easily available to normies. Meanwhile Japanese entertainment is pretty much nonexistent on yt and if it get put on there it's some shitty pirated version that gets tagged and pulled off eventually.

Jap entertainment isn't very open because they keep their celebrities' lives completely private. They don't make their music videos public either, so it hurts their ability to reach a global market via YouTube. Not to mention the idol costumes look goofy as fuck by western standards.
Other than that, Jap rock is still pretty well appreciated. Nothing's going to top Japan made anime, gaymes, porn, qt girls, nice people, and a nice country, so no need to worry jappy.
