Portugal is urbanized as well, that was not my point. It's just visiting big cities in Europe is shitty. Your off visiting medium to big ones, that's where you get the best. Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Lisbon sure they are amazing cities but they are tourist traps since they move millions of people a year compared to their Northern counterparts.
I liked Bilbao, Oviedo and Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Hated Barcelona. Madrid was nice.
