Your cunt
Did you have to learn cursive?

Finland
Yes

Italy
Sure
But then I created my own style

yes

No duh, finland.

Is it true zoomers don't learn it?

flag
No, American public education at its finest. My teacher actually promised we would but that bitch lied. Now I write in pseudo-cursive where I write print but I don't pick up my pen, lots of loops and connections. Looks dumb imo.

Flag
Yes

I've also been learning Russian and its cursive is making me suicidal

America
No, i was never taught cursive

I am learning Russian as well and my instructor insist on cursive. I don't think its too hard actually.

yes
print seems like giant fuckin hand sore
also way slower
what's the point of not writing cursive

I can't find any classes or anything that isn't a complete ripoff around here

I am doing a one on one with my professor, they don't offer it as a class at my college. So far its not different than any other language but we're starting to get into case and, well... fml

Yes
But it's stupid, at least here, nobody seems to follow the character design, making it impossible to read.
Long live print

Yes, and completely forgot it

yes but its shit

yes, I learned it in my earliest years of primary school

I can still recall writing hundreds of cursive lines out in the hallway for any minor infraction of class etiquette

good times... men were men, the world never set on the anglo-saxon man, and the schnoz dragging french strode less proudly

It's already elaborated and tangled to each other when I learn to write Jawi, so no.

Burgerland
Yes but I was born in 1980 and I'm honestly not sure if it's still widely taught or not. Also I've completely forgotten how to write in it. It seems like something you'd always remember but apparently not in my case.

Flag
Yes, but nobody uses it unless you are studying technical drawing.

>his country has cursive

>have to
HAVING to learn cursive is like having to learn how to wipe your ass or wear a jacket in winter--it just comes natural WYPIPO/non-monkeys

Everyone I know uses cursive for being much simpler and faster, I thought it was taught everywhere

>there are people who learned cursive but don't solely use it
>there are people who forgot cursive

The Jews have one, we are Brazil now.

You feel very strongly about this. Why is that?

Yes it's true, and even if they do learn it it's only for a week at most and never mandatory

It's okay man, my handwriting is terrible anyway so I don't look all educated and fancy no matter how I write. Cursive would be wasted on me.

People do not realize how important it is to write in cursive as a human being--or atleast to have the ability to do so. Up until the early/mid 1900's not being able to write in cursive was considered illiteracy.
It is truly a form of dumbing people down institutionally--it is like saying people don't need to know how to read anymore because they can listen to videos/use technology to read for them etc.

And it is a major cultural heritage of European peoples--not giving a shit about that is shameful.

And your written language is a fake artificial language made up because you were so fucking retarded you couldn't remember Chinese characters and had 5% literacy. Stupid fucking gook.

Yes, print is for barbarians

bitch lasagna, i mean ChileANO
Yes
for some weird reason i can't into print just like i can't use ballpens, i write with my fountain pen instead.

Like other normal people, I don’t understand how one can NOT write in cursive. Also something I don’t understand is why people use ballpoint pens to write. They are so ugly and you have to press hard to make a mark. I, a patrician, use nib pens — they write effortlessly and leave a thick, inky trace on the paper. The way contours merge and the thickness of the stroke varies is orgasmic.

Why do people act as if not learning cursive is a big deal? You can learn how to writte in cursive in under an hour. I don't know hou much it took me to learn cursive but it was in a single day on my first year of school when I was 6.

I am glad we are all a tribe of severely anal-retentive spergs about cursive who do not tolerate outsiders.

Seriously fuck printers, cursive tribe stronk--and I mean it.

Lithuania

Not writing cursive usually resulted in being called a retard so print was not very attractive to me

How do you write then?

t. cant write anything but cursive

Nice
I'm glad Finland still adheres to the Russian school

Yes.
Print looks childish/borderline retarded if you have bad handwriting.
Cursive helps hide it.
