I can still feel it in my lungs. Holyfuck, the only time I've been this uncomfortable and unhealthy is when I got the worst fever of my life when I was 14 and I felt like pure shit for four days and the pain wouldn't stop. And before you guys say I'm going through withdrawals, I've smoked many times in my life for stupid reasons. The nicotine leaves my body very quickly. What I'm left with is the discomfort of tar clogging up my lungs, bits of my lung feeling like they're being touched by something hot, and difficulty breathing. I would pay $20 a day to not have to experience this. I would literally pay to not have to get my body in this state. Yet something like 20% of adults pay a considerable portion of their income for this experience.
I'm also curious why weed smoke has none of these effects on me. That also really baffles me. Joints are like what I expected cigarettes to be like, where your lungs feel fine after smoking. That's what I always assumed it was like. I also have to assume that must be what most people are experiencing with cigarettes because this is not anything I can see anyone liking on any level. Maybe my lungs are just processing it differently. That's the only thing that would make sense to me. I must be part of the subset of the human population that can feel how bad these coffin nails really are for you. Maybe most smokers don't feel this.

I have two main questions I don't understand about smoking.
1. Do you experience pain in your lungs? Like an unreasonable level of pain. Because I do and I don't get what would drive someone to want to experience it.
2. If you had to go without cigarettes for 12 hours, could you do it? Because I've never experienced true addiction with cigarettes. If I don't want to (usually when the discomfort makes me realise it's a hellishly awful idea) I can just stop no problem. There's a very mild withdrawal I feel for 2 hours then about 5 hours later the nicotine is totally out of my system.
Thanks for answering man, and I'm not going out of my way to give people a hard time. It's just that I see a massive disconnect between how I feel smoking and what other people seem to be going through when smoking. And clearly I'm totally done by with smoking. This last time I know it doesn't agree with my body and I already hate doing it.

the god that the Panchen Lama represents is actually senior to the god that the Dalai Lama represents, I think he was his teacher in the canon, but because he isn't the patron saint he doesn't get the title of the ruler of Tibet, though the Chinese argued by that logic that he should be the supreme ruler. The Panchen Lama owned the lands around Shigatse and so the people there supported him
