By this logic, the Armenian Genocide and the Holocaust didn't happen because both of these groups are numbered in the millions today. Also, USSR literally requisitioned food and forced people into collective farms, they brought back serfdom in a new red package. Soviet government controlled the food supply so THEY bear responsibility for the famine just like the nazis forced people into camps so they are responsible for people who starved. Both regimes also outright executed people.
