They don't speak English, they'd stick to their sites for the most part. And if they really did make current sites unbearable, alternatives would pop up.
William Lopez
They have their own social media, etc. Some of them have hundreds of millions of users who don't give a shit about Facebook, et al. Americans really need to stop thinking the entire world cares about your web platforms. Africans and Indians also have their own shit going on online.
Robert Harris
Same. Can't wait for America to eventually bomb the fuck out of them, halting their progress for another hundred years.
They even have their own chan sites. Some Chinese flag linked to one he owned a few years ago and he even made a board for English Jow Forums users to post on.
Nicholas Allen
We need more indians
Camden Green
No, you don't get it. You are assuming they want to come to western sites when they clearly don't. As I said, you really need to learn your place in the world. There is much more than the Anglosphere and in a relatively short time we will become a minority language group. Large but still a minority.
Zachary Jones
Another example is nairaland, a Nigerian based forum. It attracts millions of people and has over two million registered accounts, yet the countries which visit the site aren't blocked from sites like Jow Forums. The rest of the world simply doesn't care all that much, they are too busy with their own affairs.
Levi Allen
Chink or pajeet culture will never surpass western culture. No one watches bollywood or indian movies, listens their music etc.
Evan Mitchell
Why?
Adrian Rodriguez
>or indian movies Chinese movies Btw you have to go back.
Nathaniel Reed
I remember that. Some kraut faggot made a thread there asking how to get laid with Chinese girls.
James Watson
Because their population and economic power are too high. Also they're disgusting and immigrating, not only to my country, but to Tibet and East Turkestan as well.
Jayden Thompson
>aussie flag >every time Then why would the government block foreign media, retard? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Firewall Educate yourself before looking like a fool.
John Stewart
>Educate yourself before looking like a fool. We know about the great firewall and VPNs. We know about 1989 We know about the cultural revolution
Do you faggots seriously believe that you're telling us anything about China that we dont already know?
I see. You're just a racist. Carry on then.
Camden Diaz
>Chink or pajeet culture will never surpass western culture what about japan/sk
Camden Bailey
>No one watches bollywood or indian movies, listens their music etc. Hundreds of millions of people do. Your place in the world is far less relevant than the feedback you get from shitposting on Jow Forums may imply.
>Educate yourself before looking like a fool. Take your own advice, mate. Every single time someone spergs out about China they end up looking like a pig ignorant Jow Forumstard. American media corporations are the largest content regional blockers on the planet and they have been leveraging government power to slice it up even more. Learn your fucking place in the world. You aren't relevant.
Camden Cox
>Every single time someone spergs out about China they end up looking like a pig ignorant Jow Forumstard hi zhang
Kayden Cooper
>Hundreds of millions of people do. It's nothing compared to western pop culture. How many chinks and pajeets consume western media? A lot. Rest of the world doesn't care about chinese or indian culture. I don't mind them having their own shit but you're being delusional thinking it will ever spread like the western culture has
Colton Foster
not to prevent their people from rabidly going to the american web sites, but rather to make their own competitive web sites? Are you really that dumb?
Samuel Cruz
It's because they can't control and censor foreign sites
Jose Flores
not every news sites are blocked in china. Reddit was actually only recently blocked
Ryan Gray
They're Western :^)
Asher Martinez
they have made a few imageboards after the japanese example, but they are mostly inactive i believe. it's also mostly people from taiwan, hongkong etc who made them, not the mainland chinese
Chase Lewis
firstly having their own more convenient to them social platforms isn't related to culturally surpassing west, and secondly you have a serious logical flaw in your reasoning, just because something isn't popular internationally right now it doesn't mean it can't get popular later, which you imply. furthermore, asia is already encroaching on the international mass culture, see the stuff like anime, k-pop etc
Justin Lopez
>not to prevent their people from rabidly going to the american web sites, but rather to make their own competitive web sites? Are you really that dumb? >lacks reading comprehension The post I was responding to () said Chinese people don't want to come to western sites, dumbfuck. Also, you're a complete illiterate moron if you think the Firewall doesn't exist to censor media that challenge the government's narrative.
Evan Taylor
Let me help you out, the people Putnam interviewed aren't all wrong, you are just wrong about what to read from that. Diversity in communities isn't the problem in America, communities are the problem in America. In 1890 the U.S. census discovered that there was no more frontier left. It sent the government, populace, and media, into a panic because it was believed, and rightly so, that American culture and identity were connected to the frontier and rural living. Gubbins, Drummond, and Tocqueville, all wrote about it too in the 18th century. The unique culture and identity that happens to a European, particularly a Briton, when they have access to endless land. It changes and shapes them in a unique way. Following that census America kicked the national parks and monuments program into overdrive in an attempt to maintain this essential frontier. As a result Americans have the largest and most comprehensive public land system on earth. Unfortunately they could not fix the problem of rural living. Around 1920 was the last time America was a predominantly rural society. The Greatest Generation were the last Americans born into a predominantly rural society. The boomers and hippies we all hate so much were the first Americans born into a predominantly urban America. With an average age of about 55-65 for a senator, president, and (at that time) supreme court justice, around 1980 was the last time the country was run by men born into a predominantly rural America. Yes, diverse communities cause distrust, but Americans were never supposed to be in those communities in the first place. It is the antithesis of American culture and identity and as soon as the shift happened America was largely doomed.

>pointing out that the Great Firewall exists is "sperging out" Take a deep breath, Chang.
