If you keep drinking regularly your tolerance will go way up and those feelings of "clarity" will turn into feelings of sadness and anger.
You think you're special? You think you won't end up like every other miserable alcoholic if you keep it up? Alcohol is something to be enjoyed on occasion with friends. It is a terrible medicine.
Get some exercise and eat healthy foods. Spend some time in the sun, socialize more. That will really make you feel better.

you shouldn't overdo it though because with alcohol it's like that - you feel the best when you are a little tipsy, but you want to get more and the feeling of clarity passes, but if you get more you won't feel better than when you just got a bit of drunk

remember that one kid from school who always stayed in behind and didn't have friends even outside of class\school? yes that's people who experience booze in their 20s

I'm not OP but I still haven't had a beer yet and I had plenty of friends in HS. I just never drank at parties or get togethers.
