It’s pretty much the midlands. Industrial heart of Germany but a bit bleak and completely blacked.
Places like Gelsenkirchen and Mönchengladbach would even be in the top 5 worst places if they were in the UK.

Pretty comfy to drive through, lots of cities that are interesting to look at for about 3 hours before you get bored. Kebab's as good as in any other place, autobahn's always fucked.

i've been there in a job trip to town of Siegen year an a half ago. nice, boring and cloгdy just as the rest of Germany. also scored a half-russian bartender girl who coplaint a lot about brown people swarming that tiny town.

the ruhrgebiet was mostly around coal and steel. cheap steel from china has destroyed this economy pretty much. lots of regions in europe also has this problem, like north france, some places in uk etc. also the retarded ex spd ministerpräsidents of nrw have pretty much fucked up a lot in the past as well.

some nice places in nrw are the sauerland and münsterland, specially münster is nice.
