There are a lot of people in America with a lot of different opinions. Each individual person deserves to be judged on their own merits. I am friendly with Americans and almost always like them when I encounter them.
I don't like America though. I'm not attacking individual Americans on Jow Forums (unless they deserve it), I'm attacking a shitty country.
You also have to consider that Americans take criticism as an insult. You don't mind domestic criticism, but for whatever reason, you are disproportionately hostile to most external criticism of the country. It doesn't help that Americans are very rarely exposed to opinions outside of the American narrative. As a result any attempt to educate Americans is usually taken as an insult.

If someone says >be American >get shot, that's Jow Forums speak for "I am concerned about the rate of gun crime in America and don't understand why they fail to take more serious action following these shootings." People also just get run down with it all. If you have been on Jow Forums for years you have seen dozens or even hundreds of these shootings (or any other bizarre statistic from America) and watched thousands of people from nearly every continent, race, religion, culture, and background, almost all say the same things while Americans, who again, feel insulted, keep making the same tired arguments and refreshing the news for the next tragic headline. Eventually you just start to think Americans must be mostly retarded and hopeless.
