What's your favourite European capital?
What's your favourite European capital?
Tarlin
milan should be the italian capital, not rome.
London is the shittiest place in the UK: it's dirty, full of nigger apes and pakistanis.
rome is prettier tha milan, you subhuman scum
and bad food too lol
Rome or Vienna
rome is a rubbish dump, you know.
Probably Vienna, although I haven’t been to Bucharest and Budapest, I’ve heard those are cool too
However mine favourite is BUDAPEST.
Berlin
Budapest
I haven't been to any. They're all so over saturated with representation that I doubt they could be genuinely enjoyed as anything other than tourist destinations. I don't seem them as living, if that makes sense to you.
That said, Vienna is a treasure, and I think it would be the most worthwhile one to see.
Ljubljana probably
Would have nothing against my capital if it had less junk on the streets and less Bosnian immigrants.
probably Vienna
I loved Paris despite the memes. One of only two I've been to, the other being Madrid. I've heard Prague is really fun.
Rome or Vienna, never have been to Madrid.
Heard good things about it
Paris and London are overrated
Vienna, but st. Petersburg is the most beautiful city of all desu
even outside the center?
too many judge to book by its cover, see Budapest
i really like amsterdam
You should go back then, Igor
we know why you like amsterdam ahah
Been to Rome a few times, minus the people and the traffic it's beyond gorgeous. Food is excellent obviously also.
>never experienced something
>already hold strong opinions about it
Stay ignorant my fellow american
Polish posting london. Interesting.
Ofc outside of the downtown st. Pete is horrible, just like paris
Do not worry. i am finn and would slit your neck if needed, ivan
actually i was there a month ago, i got high and it was a terrible experience. became completely paranoid so no, it's not because of that
sorry i made a mistake and judged you. facciamo pace?
Yeah weed does that to some people. Not unusual.
I doubt you're a "fellow american," and yes, for its cultural history alone Vienna is worth seeing, if only to see the sights some of mankind's greatest musicians had attachment to. In that ancient, and glittering city you could capture a glimpse of a millennia of possibilities.
some based and white capital from eastern europe where people are based and white
Minsk
t. retard
Paris yes, London no. London is the greatest city on earth. Getting the train from there to Paris was surreal. I left a sophisticated world-class metropolis at St Pancras and later that day walked out into a third world African shithole at Gare du Nord.
we all know this is the best city in europe, don't even pretend to disagree
If you hear a rumor that Disneyland was going to buy this city it wouldn't be hard to believe.
The one I live in
I was in Paris in the 90's and it was great. I haven't been back since, sadly.
>capital
Most capitals suck. I guess Vienna is fine.
Post beautiful pictures of Europe ITT pls
This
Paris 2nd place
Madrid 3rd place
Is this Tuscany? Very cool
idk actually
this one is probably not beautiful to most people
please stay in your country. European capital are wonderful cities. USA cannot compete.
Got any more? /comfy/ thread? It's gonna be a storm outside too
Toss up between Rome and Paris.
The nicest thing about European cities isn't the fancy architectural detail, but the layout.
You don't need extravagancy to create a picturesque place, you just need good form. Some of my favorite spots have pretty simple buildings. Old Irish or Italian villages are scenic but there's nothing ornate on the structures.
>london doesn't have top-tier restaurants
I am technically in this picture
Most European capitals are nice, with the notable exception of Paris. Why can't we have that in the New World? Ottawa, Canberra, and DC are the most uninteresting cities in their respective countries.
beautiful
I like old French villages a lot. I used to live in one for a while.
Absolutely, man. They're also much better at fitting into the natural surroundings instead of replacing them.
sardinia
Meanwhile, if you have bad form but try to dress it up with fancy shit, you're just putting lipstick on a pig.
germany is comfy in winter
budapest
The upper story windows don't bother me at all but that shit on the bottom right is pretty unforgivable.
>car hole
Do European houses not have garages? Come to think of it, no I don't guess they do? I'd never thought about this before.
This is not European, this is bad american copy.
Paris was nice up until a few years ago, multiculturalism ruined it
London was always a shithole
Oh you
Where is this? Looks amazing
I think there's an ever-growing movement to make US/Canadian cities more old-world style. Not even memeing.
It just takes time and a WHOLE lot of money to reform our cities. But people are increasingly doing it.
Also DC used to be bad but I think it's gotten a lot better. Same with Atlanta.
that might not be europe, i'm just posting pics randomly from my folder
Mine.
taaaac
you can build whatever you want, the architecture ideas for homes are nebulous, and not a copy from europe, if anything a tandem evolution of the home space
I've never been to Budapest so I don't much about it but I always see it so highly praised. What's so good about it?
i prezzi ahah
No, most of them were built long before cars.
If you go to the Victorian parts of London they have "mews" in the alley where there was a spot to park the carriage.
The important thing is, putting the garage in front is stupid. Good design places the garage around back. You don't want to greet the world with "Yes this house was built for cars and we don't care about greeting humans or interacting with the surrounding"
your post sounds so utterly stupid
Well, mine is a tie between Florence and Siena, so thank you. Patti chiari, amici cari.
cinque terre is pretty
belfast
and that's all the good pictures i had i think, please continue posting more
Edinburgh.
On a side note, London isn’t representative of England and should be ignored entirely. The true capital of England is York.
Prague was probably the nicest one I've been too. For all of its faults I still think London is pretty great, probably my second favourite. Out of capitals I've not been too, I would most like to visit Rome, Bern, Vienna & Reykjavik
Maybe to you since you're clueless.
There is a large and growing movement to make American cities more walkable, though.
cnu.org
uli.org
They have chapters in every city where developers meet and discuss increasing pedestrianism. And it grows every year.
Reykjavik is boring as fuck but I guess beautiful to tourists
t. grew up there
BASED
woah...
t. based
I left my heart in Budapest. Can you tell me the kürtőskalács receipe? I will eat them everyday
I know you, you overuse that buzzword in these threads. It never stops being annoying.
why are brits always so self hating
Edinburgh was the damn nicest city in the UK. God, if American cities had something like New Town.
York's nice too I just thought it was a smaller city.

make it the capital of italy
Oh you're that guy who doesn't know what he's talking about and tries to argue until he realizes he can't argue. Maybe one day you'll do some research.
Mos...no, I don't like any city.
They live on sun starved islands, blasted by cold and unforgiving rough seas, and windy soul sapping storms.
What is this picture supposed to prove?
That Americans used to walk a lot more and our cities used to be nicer?
My favorite EuroPISSan capital is Shitsambourg lol
