I never had much luck with 45s. The 1911 would stovepipe, the glock 21 would spit the spent cartridge in my face. The 40 caliber glock however is flawless. Never had a misfire and still shows no real signs of wear after after several thousand rounds. I once had a taurus and it fell apart after about 1000 rounds. They did honor their lifetime warranty and send me a replacement.
