Yeah sometimes you get lucky. I just got a coalition launched at me when I have 0 manpower and no military ideas. Bit fucky. Still The Ubermans and Spain can probably win it for me but still. If I hadn't been supercharging the commonwealth only for them to betray me this would never have been launched. Also I've gotten deeply enough into the age of reformation to find out what those people in the reviews were talking about. The game basically is unplayable atm.

idk the maths behind it. But bluntly put they wanted to launch a war into Muscovy and I wanted to take out Britain. So I save scummed it and no matter what I tried I couldn't get them to join in the day before they called me to arms so I Just launched the war. Forgot to co-belligerent Austria so I massively fucked myself there. Only had a 30ishk Stack in England and they're actually super op midgame. Like my navy wasn't great but they just crushed everything so I couldn't reinforce. Got 2 fucking provinces from the war and wasted 60k manpower and change. Just to get a Calais and Freigshaft. Fucking Austrians with Emperor and the Burgundian inheritance are actually no joke. Dealing with the reformation is bluntly fucked atm. Paradox really needs to sort this out

After that it'll just be a quick succession war. Cull back Papal power and then use the Age of absolutism to power farm Turk land.
