idk what coin you're talking about but turtle bagholders (there are people who bought at over 30 sats) will be eager to shill anything that resembles functionality, so while it's a reinvention of the wheel the marketing could send it flying. Also they could make the UI nice and fancy, mobile clients, etc etc.
