Honestly I don't understand what the fuck fungible means in the context of monero. Aren't all cryptos fungible (tradeable 1 to 1)? What am I missing user, help a brother out

An example with bitcoin is when some ransomware makers managed to get a lot of bitcoins transferred to a specific address. Afterwards, no one wanted to touch the BTCs from that address. You can compare it to dollar bills, that have serial numbers. In both case, they are not truly fungible, while XMR is, because they have no “mark” that could make them different from any other XMR.
