It was the colonial war or Ultramar war/Ultrasea war and it was fought in various parts of Africa.

Cenepa war (1995) and our internal conflict with Sendero and MRTA (1980-2000). That's about it really.
50 years of commie terrorists till late 80's and everyone around who claims the country is anglo creation to destabilize the region. Till today the country is blamed for everything.
>Some terrorists use M4 rifle
>I bet Malaysia did this
I can only call Araguaia Guerrila and raping FARC in the 90's.
We've never done anything wrong
Zapatista uprising in 1994
Tho I don't think its our Vietnam since only a few soldiers died and the rebel casualties were significantly larger
Tho they won the political conflict and the army declared a cease fire

>India's forcible seizure of Goa was met with near-universal condemnation. President Kennedy told Indian President Nehru "You preach peace and then do the exact opposite." A sarcastic editorial in China's People's Daily congratulated India for "having the courage to take on the world's smallest imperialist power." The only supporter of New Delhi was the Soviet Union; an editorial in Pravda congratulated the capture of the city.
SHUT UP, it does!
There was that one time during the interwar period when we fought russians, Polacks and some faggot named Bermont
Our Vietnam war was the partisan movement between 1944 and 1956. We were Vietnam in that war. Except unlike real Vietnam war, we got btfo
> Except unlike real Vietnam war, we got btfo
I gotta say, it takes a lot of guts and balls to admit defeat. Good on you, Lithuanian-bro.
Its not hard to admit defeat when its a historic fact.
So we changed from fighting with guns to singing depressing folk songs. Somehow, it worked
indonisian war of indenpendence
we wouldve won if the americans didnt get cocky and just let us do it
never happened to US, nope
We had an internal dispute with French nationalists.
6 people died.
Afghanistan was our Vietnam. I don't know about the US (only from the movies), but our shell-shocked, PTSD-affected veterans were abandoned by the government. Many of them drank themselves to death, many of them went begging in the streets, some of them joined criminal gangs. There were alot of cripples and drunk men, who begged for money, pretending to be veterans. "Afghan soldier" was a common image in the 90s, but is pretty much nonexistant nowadays.
