Why are European brick streets so much smoother than ours?
You can drive an a Euro brick street and it’s not bumpy. The few brick streets my city has are extremely bumpy.
Why are European brick streets so much smoother than ours?
american lardboxes carry a much heavier load, destroying any street they touch
Where the fuck do you live OP?
Bumfuck Alaska?
Because Europa is superior in workmanship and quality. The US subcontracts out to the lowest bidder, which means that Paco and Julio will do a shitty job without reading schematics - Because they can't read English.
I remember when I lived in Karlsruhe, Germany. There was a major issue with the trams lines and had to be replaced. They closed the section of track at midnight and had it in working order by 5:00 for commuters. That wouldn't happen here!
Why do ignorant Americans such as yourself consider Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the Nordic countries to be the entirety of Europe.
>The US subcontracts out to the lowest bidder
>They closed the section of track at midnight and had it in working order by 5:00 for commuters. That wouldn't happen here!
Both of these are true for Denmark as well.
Without looking could you label every capital city in Europe? Didn't think so. I've lived in 7 European countries working with electrical grids. I am far from ignorant.
>Brick streets
We don't do that here.
>That wouldn't happen here
Because you don't have trams
Western Europe is only part of Europe.
it's the only important part
Whatever. Most of Europe is Eastern Europe which isn't like that.
And actually in many western (especially south western) European countries infrastructure is getting only worse, Italy is a good example, in the 1980s they had probably second best road network in Europe after Germany, now it's mostly neglected because they don't have money for renovation.
As a Yuro is can tell you that the quality of our brick roads wary wildly.
They're usually very good in the places a tourist is likely to come across them though.
I've read this as "Western Europe is the only part of Europe" and was about to agree with you
Come home, Iranic man
If all of Eastern and Southern Europe disappeared nobody would care.
In fact if all of Europe aside from Great Britain disappeared nobody would care.
I think it has to do with people usually cross through them a lot more often and if someone is falling sleep/tire etc, it helps to stay a bit more cautious.
There is moving the goalposts but by this point I don't know what to call it besides going full potato.
t. Jacob Scrzszowitz
Hi Kraut Mc'Cron.
Are you aware that the rest of us can see the conversation? At every single contradiction you moved the goalposts and have now given up on your shifting argument in favour of flailing around wildly with baseless attempts at personal insults.
Give it up.
Those brick streets are probably 100-200 years old, oftentimes older and have worn down smooth.
There is only one answer
>american engineer
The fact that, 1. you can't tell I am a different person than OP
and 2. that i'm being obviously sarcastic
is what is pitiful
Brick streets are shit.
We are only the sidewalk.
Because it is hard to walk, brick street is unpopular.
>subcontracts out to the lowest bidder
Is a technique included in a bid participation qualification?
They are comfy. Shut up.
breaks your suspension when driving
breaks your ankles when walking
>breaks your ankles when walking
Do you have ankles made out of tofu by any chance?
again USA feels like Brazil
You drive a shit tier car and walk like an insecure autist.
Until you have to drive on them.
most of our brickstreets have all sorts of restrictions regarding speed and are almost exclusively placed in city centres where they don't have to deal with constant car traffic.
