This.We conquered morocco and then handed the territories to spain
Let's see >Rif was never part of the morocco, in the past 500 years at least, and most likely since the nekor emirate in 710 >always populated by tribes that hated the moroccan kingdom/state and the king >raped the moroccan king at every battle for centuries >bled siba since recorded history started >Created their own republic in the early 20th and were ennemies of Morocco >Still in revolt in 2018 ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hirak_Rif )
I mean the rif tribes could have ended the pathethic current dynasty at several occasion, they captured the king and sodomized him several times, they just had pity.. because the blood of muhammad is in him and shit.
Only a mentally ill person would call the rif "morocco", the first time it became "Morocco" was when France annexed it.
Ceuta was always part of Iberia, it was part of Al Andalus and the Emirate of Cordoba, it was never Moroccan in the first place. It was Iberian even in the pre-islamic period.
Spain isn't holding any moroccan territory, and Spain never hold any moroccan territory ever.

- the bled siba changed a lot, depend on the year, - pic related, in 1894 only the dark green was Morocco, the rest was the Siba (light green), so 80% of the country, including the rif, was in the siba - in 1909, your map isn't accurate (primary work), morocco looked like that omniatlas.com/maps/europe/19081007/ because bou hmara controlled the north and launched a revolt en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bou_Hmara - the sultanat is morocco, nationalism is a 19th european concept - there are hundred of books about every tribe in the rif and its relation with the king, the extreme majority of them were in total siba, and there is very accurate data on the number of rifles they had, the battles they fought against the kingdom in the last centuries - books gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k6205775c.r=bled siba?rk=21459;2 - gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k83137z.r=tribus maroc fusils?rk=21459;2
Rif had 3 wars with Spain while Morocco never fought a single war, they only sucked cocks. even the one war we were discussing earlier here is just the result of independant tribes fighting >Dans la nuit du 10 au 11 août 1859, alors que les Espagnols améliorent les fortifications en dehors de la ville de Ceuta, installent une plus importante garde pour la protection des travaux, et hissent leurs armes nationalesL 6, la tribu jeblie des Anjra qui voit cela comme une provocation, et dont le territoire est limitrophe3, attaque au matin du 11 les travaux commencés par l'EspagneL 6, prennent les armes nationales espagnoles et violent donc le territoire espagnol de Ceuta
Hazel eyes, IBERIAN lies Muffled natives women's cries Natives big and small, Cortez and Duarte Pacheco Pereira kills them all Left, right, right, left IBERIAN sows the seed of death Not a stone is left to stand When IBERIAN sails across the lands After invading the Americas and some The IBERIAN work was still not done So joining up with the Austrian and Vatican He made a new one: Inquisition To sate his thirst for colony blood That he wanted, that he got Now tenochtitlan is devoid of cheer Americans have fear; the Iberian is here

I thought they were mostly conquistadors who ran out of shit to do and criminals with nothing to lose. I thought the Andalucias came later for business and made up the bulk of colonists that way.

nop. the first expedition from spain went from andalucia, and most of the 90 men innit were andalucians. also andalucia had the biggest docks in spain afaik. they tended to stop for food in canarias so that might be where the cuban accent comes from aswell.
It's literally the closest language to English other than Afrikaans. If you've ever heard them speak they sound like you or me but intentionally speaking gibberish
I think the only formal war between the kingdom of Morocco and Spain is 1859-1860. The rest was between some tribes that were as if not more hostile to Morocco than they were to Spain.

> i-it doesn't count that you btfo our army, made our sultan a satellite for 100 years and btfo us again when we became independent > b-but we rekt you in Annual so we're the moral winners
The sultan of morocco bearly controlled 20% of Morocco in the 1850-1900 period, cf: the map and in the first half of the 20th, Morocco was French, not Spanish. No idea where you got that "100 years" number from. And it's not a really effective satellite considering that he let the tribes attack constantly Spain, as the wars you listed prove it.
1893 was a war against 39 tribes from the rif (that were independant from morocco) 1909 was a war against 10 tribes (that were independant from morocco) 1912-1926 was a war against one tribe, the Ait Ouriaghel pretty much, and you got humiliated to a level never seen before (many american joined the war because the defeat was so crushing, it shamed the whole "white race") Also France mostly won that war.
Anyway, if you consider random skirmich against random independant tribes as "wars against morocco", then from 1500 to 1800 you lost thousands of wars, and from 711 to 1492, well, you know that pretty well.
