This guy is right, looks very different from the rest of Ukraine geographically speaking. It’s a pretty charming small town. One really funny thing though when I went with my gf there is that as soon as we got to the main square there was a gang of like 5 dogs parading back and forth like some kind of unit.

Carpathian food is like an amalgamation of slovakian, hungarian and local slavic dishes. It’s pretty delicious but heavy as fuck.

Also the place in this pic is one of the coolest museums I’ve ever seen. It’s an outdoor museum filled with very old buildings that have been brought there from all over Ukraine piecemeal and then reassembled. You feel transported through a time machine, it’s very cheap to get in as well.
